This is a review of Sam's Clubs shipping service, not Sam's Club as a whole. I am so very, very disappointed with Sam's club shipping. The whole reason I upgraded my membership to Plus was to take advantage of the free shipping. I am disabled so it is difficult for me to get out and around. I thought having my items shipped, would be the solution. I have had 3 shipping orders since I upgraded and 2 of them failed horribly. I placed an online order 7/19 and the order placed stated pick up would be 7/19. I called 7/19 all day before driving 45 min away to make sure they were ready. I had to get a manager on the phone to get the status. I was told by ***** that they were not in and he would call me by 10am 7/20. Well I have been calling since Tues to get the status. Two main things that I dislike about Sam's club. The first is that they accuse you of stealing ever time you walk out the door. Every other retail establishment in the country generally trusts their customers. Sam's does not. The other thing is the membership renewal. If you renew early, which they are constantly trying to get you to do, you lose the remaining portion of that one year membership. Over several years, you would theoretically pay for an extra year that you didn't need to pay.

You would think that a company this big would try to do something about their poor customer *******, but let's face it; it might cost your investors a penny or two. I only shop with you when it's absolutely necessary, If I want something real bad and can only get it there. The credit card is useless. You have to wait 10 days after you pay your bill before you have your available credit limit . The Bank they use is the most unfriendly people you ever want to talk to. They can not resolve any issue. They say they"don't" have that information and they won't give you to someone that will.

When calling customer service to order a replacement card because mine was falling apart, part of the process is to verify who I am. So they sent me a link on my phone so I can take a 5 second video of myself for verification. So I did that then step two is to take a picture of your drivers license front and back. Consequently my phone would not take a picture of my driver's license no matter what I did to the phone. I tapped the button probably 30 times and the picture would not take. I had a horrible experience with the self-scan app and the management at my beloved Loveland, Colorado Club. This club has been my primary place to shop for 21 years. I know many employees by name and always receive excellent service from the line staff. After yesterday, I am not sure I will ever go back there again. I have two cards in the self-scan app, and when I switched from one to the other it confused the app and I couldn't swipe to pay.
