BAIT SWITCH. found product online to buy, signed up membership, applied for credit, went to website to make purchase, item was put in the cart... and when I went to check out, ITEM WAS REMOVED FROM CART BECAUSE IT'S OUT OF STOCK... I purchased a sofa with a 5 year Protection and Delivery plan at Sam's Club. Square Trade ( "an All state company" ) was scheduled to deliver on the second day after purchase. They failed to keep the appointment. I called three times during that week. Three deliveries were scheduled and all three times they did not show. After ten days I was told that Square Trade would not honor their service. I have always had good service at Sam's, but I do not recommend their Protection and Delivery. About two months ago I purchased a couch from samsclub.com, the couch was to be delivered to my home on 07/02/2021. The couch never arrived so on 07/03, I called and cancelled the order because I wanted to have the couch for 4th of July and when I spoke to the representative on 07/03 he said they didn't know where the couch was. On July 5th my credit card was charged for the couch that was never delivered till this day. I had bought 1 tire at Sams on Lakeline in Austin. I tried 3 days to get it installed. Three days I was told there was no techs that showed up to work to put tires on. They had staffed the bay with checkers who you could tell had no real ability to operate the equipment. I bought my tire outright and went to a Sams in another suburb. Horrible experience with an online order for a King Mattress. Customer service representatives are not helpful at all and are the worst. I called twice since I never got a tracking number and they just didn't care to look into it and said they would follow up and never did. The mattress was supposed to arrive on August 12 and it is now August 14 and I am without a mattress. Sams club is going against consumer laws when they take my money and then put chips and snack cakes in boxes with 2 cases of canned goods. I get destroyed merch every time. Ive fought with them over a year and they still owe me money or product. I've experienced perhaps the worst customer ******* in my 40 years on this earth dealing with Sams Club over what should have been a simple refund. Here is my saga in chronological order: June 11: Ordered 15 Duck Brand Moving Blankets, total cost $139.28. June 12: Order shipped in two separate FedEx shipments, one weighing 4.2 lbs and one weighing 52.9 lbs.
