Great jazz – Went here for jazz after eating and wished we had just been there the whole time.
A must in Houston – There are many things that keep me coming back to Sambuca Jazz Cafe but the two main ones are the brunch and the happy hour. This is the best and strongest martini in Houston with $3 apps you can't beat it! The service is impeccable! Dinner and lunch are also fab. As an event planner I have used them numerous times for functions and I am never disappointed.
The BEST!!! – My husband & I went to Sambuca for our anniversary and I must say that I was impressed. Our server, Paco was about the best ever. He was attentive, without being too pushy & he made our evening extra special. The Live Music was also a treat! Norma Zenteno is probably one of the best perfromers in Houston. We will be back!!!!!!
Jazzy and Romantic – I've been to Sambuca's on several occasions, and have always, always had a memorable and super experience here. I have to totally disagree with the prior review; I found the food to be excellent, the live jazz band to be awesome, and the waitstaff to be right on cue. They have a wonderful marketing manager here named Prairie; she will plan your Valentine's evening, group parties, or special occasion with professional and enthusiastic enthusiasm. I Love Mark Dini!!!!! – My girlfriends & I went to Sambuca for a "girls-night-out" & had the best time. We did not want to eat dinner so we got there at about 7:00 PM on Saturday and grabbed some seats at the bar, near the stage to wait for the music to start. The performer for the evening was Mark Dini and he was amazing! I felt like I was seating front row at a sold out jazz concert. My friends & I had the best Apple Martinis from the cute "Disco Ken" bartender and also met some HOT guys!! We will DEFINITELY be back!!!!!
Cute! – Interior is very cute and intricate. Lots of good-looking people with an awesome band playing today to yesterday's music. Food was not too bad, not warm and different! Very intimate and the lighting was perfect!!
Sambuca is the BEST!!!! – I took my husband to Sambuca for his birthday this year and we had the best time. Sambuca really helped to make it a special evening for us. Yvonne Washington, who was the performer that evening, did an amazing special request for us & our server, Clint was so imressive! Thanks to Sambuca for an evening to remember!
Great evening – We stopped in to have a different meal not knowing the environment. My girlfriend and I walked in after being outside all day in shorts and T-shirts. We were treated like we were the most important people in the restaurant. The service was remarkable and I asked for my tuna specifically in between rare and medium rare and it was perfect. I recommend this resaurant to anyone and I urge you ask for Lori to be your waitress. She really makes you feel at home.
The Perfect Date Spot! – I had a date that I really wanted to impress, so I decided to give Sambuca a try. It was perfect!! The decor was exotic and the ambience was very romantic! We sat in an intimate booth and had the best time. Our server must have been a professional because he was flawless & attentive. The food was wonderful, especially the Osso Buco!The live music was very entertaining. Needless to say, we have a second date and we will defintely be back to Sambuca!
