My Birthday!! – I had my Birthday Party at Sambuca on Friday, 6/25/04. WE HAD A BLAST! The performers that night were the Shape Shifters and they were amazing. They played a great blend of classic rock & jazz favorites. The food was just as perfect as the service that we received from Genie! I work as a wine rep for a local distributer and Genie impressed me with the extensive wine knowledge that she displayed. I will be back!!
We've really enjoyed taking the train downtown and stopping at Sambuca for Sunday brunch. Sometimes the lines for food are a little too long, but the food is usually very tasty. And, if you've taken the train you don't have to worry about parking.
Sambuca Rocks!!! – If you have never been to Sambuca, you have got to check it out. Sambuca is kind of like a secret that you don't want to many people to know about, but I can keep silent no longer! The Hot Spot! – I am a local musician and I am always on the look out for venues that provide high quality entertainment. My first visit to Sambuca was for my Birthday on April 10th and I have been back 5 times since then! The Shape Shifters performed the night of my Birthday and they were amazing! All of the bands that I have seen at Sambuca since then have been just as good! If you have never been there, you MUST check this place out!
Highly Recommended! – I went to Sambuca Jazz Cafe for the first time on Wednesday, March 24th to see El Orbits perform. We had the best time and I recommend that anyone who loves music, great service and wonderful food check out this "Houston Treasure!" I'll see you there!!
Romance is in the Air! – My husband and I went to Sambuca Jazz Cafe for our 5th Anniversary and I was so impressed. What a BEAUTIFUL restaurant! Cozy booths, candlelight and the perfect service is what you will see and experience when you try Sambuca Jazz Cafe. The night that we were there Carol Fran was the performer. A HOUSTON TREASURE! – My husband and I decided to try Sambuca Jazz Cafe after a friend told us about Ezra Charles, a local Houston musician, who performs at Sambuca about once a month. My wife and I went to Sambuca for Valentine's Dinner and it was exceptional!! It has always been one of our favorites, but this night was outstanding! Wonderful Food, Perfect Service and a Rockin' Band, who could ask for more?! Be sure to make a reservation, they fill-up quick!
