GREAT AMBIANCE......GREAT PLACE FOR ROMANCE – IF YOU ARE A ROMANTIC...THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO AND ENJOY LIVE MUSIC AND DINING........THE FOOD WAS EXELLENT AND SO IS THE SERVICE..........MY TABLE WAS RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE STAGE AND THE WAIT STAFF IS VERY ATTENTIVE............I'M LOOKING FORWARD TO GOING BACK AND ENJOYING ALL THEY HAVE TO OFFER
Great buffet – I tried this place with a group of girlfriends for the mother's day brunch. Yes brunch is $20 but well worth it. You have so many choices you will find something for everyone. Don't forget to get the bottomless mimosa but ask for a cold one so it is made fresh for you instead of premade. I then took my husband back with another group of friends for a nice dinner. The music is wonderful and makes for a great environment. Food is a little pricey so put this place on your list for special occassions.
terrible lamb, cold vegetables, no responsibility accepted by staff for bad food – My bill for dinner for two was $112 with just 2 glasses of wine, no dessert and this is even after a $29 credit for a bad entree. I ordered the lamb with squash bake - the lamb was so tough I could hardly cut it, much less chew it down. The squash bake that came with it was wonderful, but not fully cooked - it was still cold in the middle!! Great Night Out – My husband and I went to Sambuca on Sunday night to celebrate our anniversary. We had a wonderful time! The food was delicious, our waitress was excellent, and the live music completed the mood. It is a little pricey, but well worth it for that special ocassion or just a romantic night out. I highly recommend this restaurant!
Not Impressed – I've heard really good things about Sambuca's and we went there prior to a concert. My 2 sisters and my father and I went. First of all, the lighting is horrible. I am all for ambiance and setting a mood but when you have to use a flashlight on the table to read the menu, that's taking it a bit too far. It was noisy and crowded. Romantic, great service, great food, great music ! – My wife and I ate at Sambuca's last night, and it was truly spectacular! Our reservations were for 6:15, and we were taken immediately with no wait. We first tried and outside table, but then decided we wanted to enjoy the music that would begin at 7:30. Horrible and rude experience – Where should I begin....first of all I had to wait about 45 minutes for a table that I made a reservation for. We were rudely directed to the bar while I waited for my table to become vacant. My girlfriend and I first started off with my favorite appetizer...the calamari. Great Atmosphere/Patio, several great dishes – Beautiful restaurant, nice live music, great patio. Very impressed with half of the dishes (salads, Beef Carpaccio), though disappointed with Seafood Ravioli. My first time there and I will definetely be back.
