This place makes me feel old – I have been to this bar a couple of times. It is a good place to start the night. Our waitress was ok. She was good looking and that is important to us...haha. The drinks were expensive but it was worth it. One could taste the alcohol. You will find older crowd here. The dance floor is small and not many people will be dancing. Great Food, Horrible Service – I had the blackened snapper. It was really really good. What wasn't good was the service. Our waiter wreaked of cigarette smoke. I had to grab his attention numerous times to order wine to have him clear the table. At the beginning he came by the table to tell us he was taking care of us and left without asking what we wanted for drinks. PERFECT! – My husband brought me here the night he proposed to me which was a Friday. I must say everything was perfect. My husband had made a reservation so as soon as we got there we were seated. Great atmosphere – I read some bad reviews for this restaurant and wonder if they were at the same restaurant we enjoyed so much. My husband and I went to Sambuca when we became engaged, on our anniversary, my birthday and several other occasions. Personally, I enjoyed my food, our waiters were extra attentive, polite and we had excellent service. We saw some great shows and never lacked for anything. new to the area - will be back!!!! – I just moved to the area and our neighbors brought us to Sambuca for dinner. From the moment we walked into the restaurant to the moment we left, we had a great time!! Being a Friday night, there was a wait. below average – i recently went to sambuca to see what my co workers were talking about. the place does have great music but as far as the service I was very disappointed to see a bunch of drugged up and drunk waiters. Not my idea of fine dining at all The food is good bar food. thats about it,wine list not too impressive but besides that the place was nice...... tell all of your friends – My husband and I met another couple for dinner at Sambuca the other night. They had never been and we had only been a couple of times. Everyone had a blast! The food was very good, and the music was excellent. Our waiter was outstanding. He was very knowlegeable about the menu and suggested a great wine to go with our food. Our friends are already planning a trip back. Overall I would give the food four stars, the music four as well and the service five.
Overpriced food, good live music when playing. – The food was mediocre for the price. The bar drinks are pretty poor and the service is okay. I would expect better from this place. We had the beignets which were good but they were only 3 on the plate for $9. We also orderd the portabello frietts which were around the same price for what seemed like 1 mushroom cut into 4 slices.
