I had a very small chip in my windshield. A Safelite employee made the chip into two large cracks after charging over $200!!! This company is terrible for customers but great for fleecing money!!! Never recommending!!! Headed to rest of social media sites to make others aware!!!

I scheduled Service today. NOT ONE PHONE CALL!!! Also, I was told 1-6 PM today, and my windshield still has a crack in it!!! I tried calling at 6:27 PM to get told they close at 5 PM. Next time I am booking via my insurance company. I paid $500 days ago, and yet no service. I lost a whole day and will not recommend your services to any of my connections.

At the beginning of May 2023, I requested a windshield to be replaced using the mobile service. During the replacement, the technician broke my rearview mirror and broke the snaps off the driver side molding the seals the windshield. While the new windshield was fine and the technician did admit to breaking the mirror but not the molding, I've been in contact with Safelite and until this day, they have done nothing to replace the mirror or molding even though they said they would. Safelite replaced my back windshield under order 01831-479227 more than 12 months ago. They didn't not completely remove all the broken glass shard from inside of the hood/panels. Last week, my trunk couldn't open and I have to take it to the dealer to get it fix ($1519 total). They have to remove the lock assembly of the back door to get it open. If I could give zero stars I would . I was scheduled for a Tuesday appointment to fix a rear window . On Tuesday they gave me a call to let me know that the rear slider wasn't working and they would need to order additional parts ,they wouldn't be able to do it at the given appointment, we rescheduled for Saturday, 7:00 am . My brother, needed windshield and driver side window replaced and I/ sister, called in my cc info on 10/1. They went to my brother’s house on 10/2 and left, not replacing windows saying they had no cc info. I left my class and called in cc info again. Phone options kept rerouting me to main menu options as no option for my concern. Finally, I chose option: “upcoming appt” and I stated: phone # “IDK” and stated: zip code “IDK”. One month and three appointments and my windshield is still not repaired. Two times, technicians arrive without the correct part (despite knowing the make and model and year of my car). Once, they cancelled because the part was lost. If there is a mistake, be prepared to call them b/c no one will call you to reschedule (despite what the technician says). Terrible experience with Safelite in Glen Burnie Maryland. I scheduled an appointment and waiting for an hour to be told the windshield was not in stock because it had to be ordered. I rescheduled the appointment and had went back and windshield still was not in stock. I then waited about 4 months and rescheduled again. Was told they do mobile, so I scheduled my appointment only to find out, they do not service my area, do to prejudice. Excuse was they got held at gun point. I've lived here many years, and have not seen this.
