I am giving this corporation a ZERO. ZZZZZEEEEERRRROOOOOOO. ZERO. This shop in Bayonne at 170 E 22nd St is incompetent. Has no regard for peoples time. We have a 2023 Honda Pilot that developed a crack on our windshield on June 12. Through our insurance company we were directed to this shop. First we were given a date to have it replaced. They called us to let us know they don't have the windshield it has not been released yet from Honda. It was too new of a car. I am completely dissatisfied with the installation of my windshield at this location. The appointment process was very inconvenient, and the installation was unacceptable. The first installation required leaving my car for an unknown amount of time as no appointments were available within a reasonable amount of time. The windshield cracked 10 days after installation. Horrible customer service and the servicing facility is never able to even answer customer care. Work order *****-******. I have called, texted, chatted up to 5-6 times after I called and requested a refund for the 30 dollar charge for the windshield wiper that they never installed or gave me. I was then charged an additional 200 dollars instead of being refunded 30. They didn’t replace the wiper because it was out of stock on 8/30. They said they would call me when it came in. I waited til 10/10 to request a refund for that... read more

Safelite was supposed to come out and replace my windshield. I was told they would be coming between the hours of 8:00-noon. They never showed up and when I called, I was put on hold for 40 minutes and told the technician had gone home early and wouldn't be coming. She then told me that she was reassuring it to a different technician and he would be contacting me shortly. An hour later and I hadn't heard anything so I called back. Had me scheduled for a mobile repair job through my insurance company. I have 2 emails from them confirming this, and I was told it would be between 8am and 5pm. After 2pm I received a call from a technician stating my car was done. Hmmm, nobody was ever at my home. I went outside immediately, only to find that my car was never touched. i am a shop owner that needed and R&R....i have the glass used and they wouldn't do it unless it was new.. they wouldn't connect me with the local shop to discuss my detail specific job with a technician,,,instead they feel that all my answers could be solved over the phone with someone elsewhere in the country. 4 phone numbers later, they were willing to transfer me to the shop BUT then told me i couldnt use the NOS i had. Safelite put me in a bad situation and I did half the work. Safelite AutoGlass add an appointment for my 98 Toyota. I brought it down there and dropped it off. And an hour later received a phone call saying they would not put a windshield in. Because of rust, I'm an auto body guy so I went down probed the window Seam And found absolutely no rust or holes. Where do i start, i think 1 star is too much, To start off the guy they sent out was nice, but he had to google on how to do my windshield. He cut my inside rails, broke the outside clips that seal the window and the window dropped down. They acknowledged this by sending someone out, and said the Latham Ny Store will call to get these issues fixed. This has been going on since the first week of September.
