I started this process on August 10, 2023 in your shop on 2121 Mercury Blvd, Hampton, VA 23666 with my initial replacement of my windshield which was done improperly and the drainage tube for the sunroof it was damaged. On the second replacement, done at my home of the windshield that also had areas that were not sealed. On both replacements water damage was done to the carpet on the passenger side and mold throughout the carpet and leather seats. After a windshield repair, my LKAS was malfunctioning. I went back and the head person regarding calibration told me it was fine. It was not. I drove with him and he did not know how to turn it on or off via the steering wheel. He did not know what the Main button and LKAS button did. The system would not turn off. How to I argue with someone who is ignorant about what the buttons used to turn the system on and off do. Zero Stars!! Geico scheduled my windshield and back glass replacement with this company after Sept. hailstorm. I scheduled online for earliest appt for a week and half out and they called my husband to ask him about features on my car for calibration. The day before my Sat mobile appointment I received a confirmation call. Horrible service from the moment we walked in with a lady who did not greet us with her loud blue hair. She scolded us for being 10 minutes late to our 930 am drop off appointment. Was humiliated with her behavior so much for customer service! Next when my truck was returned let me remind you it is brand new off the shelf they gave me the truck back with my wires all showing to my camera that came with my truck as it is a special edition and I was told they did there best! I called safelite about a warranty claim a month ago, had someone come out and inspect the damage, and was told that their manager had authorized a reimbursement if I ordered a replacement part. The person who caused the damage during installation of a new windshield did not notify anyone the vehicle was damaged, it was left for me to discover while driving the vehicle in an unsafe condition (caused by their employee). First you can’t get a human on the phone. If you don’t answer correctly they hang up. I had my glass replaced this spring. And it’s cracked again from the bottom. Nothing hit my windshield at all this time. I think they didn’t do it correctly or the glass was ?cheap??? I won’t ever use this place and I won’t tell anyone else to!

Called and confirmed I would get OEM replacement. They get out here and say no, it's different brand. Have jeep wrangler and wanted original Mopar. Apparently they only do OEM on newer models and 200 extra dollars. Took half day off work and no windshield. And can't get me back on schedule for 6 more days

Safelite replaced my cracked windshield on about July 14, 2023. When I picked up the vehicle they told me there was a bubble on the windshield which was quite evident. They said the car was safe to drive and they needed to procure a new windshield. A few days later I needed other work done on my vehicle so I went to my Volvo dealer. I mentioned the windshield repair job and they looked over the status of the windshield. This company has the WORST customer service of any company I’ve ever dealt with EVER! Safelite came to my house to replace my wife’s broken windshield. All good right? Nice and convenient right? Not so good! The technician installed the windshield then when he pulled the tape off he pulled a patch of paint off with it! A “warranty” guy was sent out to take pictures. All a dog and pony show! They had no intention of rectifying the problem! “ no sir this has never happened before! There must have something wrong with your car”... read more
