We I first arrive at safelite (Armenia ave Tampa Fl) the customer in front of me was yelling at the manager. She turned around and said this place is a joke and you should run. She was right. I took an uber 15 dollars home and after about 2 hours received a text message that the job was "Wrapping up". I waited about 30 minutes then took uber (15 more dollars) to get my car. I just want to say that I'm disappointed by the Ad on TV. They imply it's free to have your windshield replaced, and when mine cracked, my friends told me that it would be replaced for free, because they believed the ad too. Well, I believed them because I have a pretty good insurance policy. I have to pay $100, that is the deductible cost on my insurance plan. I don't think very many people pay more for their insurance than I do. We're all encouraged to pay "only what we need." .. until we have to pay the real price for a p... read more

A terrible company to deal with. There is no such thing as customer service, just an endless string of "press 1" or "press 2". Never did get a live person after trying over 7 different numbers. I wanted information regarding fixing a cracked windshield for my son's car in a different city. I didn't want to answer an infinite number of questions about their car. This business offers poor customer service. I had a quote for a windshield replacement for 730$ Safelite neglected to alert me that calibration costs would be another 400$ until after they completed the work, In addition they could only accept two forms of payment. I wanted to spread the cost out over three cards to keep balances low but they could not accommodate that. First of all the calibration didn't have to be done, the safety camera could have been turned off in the vehicle but Safelite techs didn't have the expertise... read more

Horrible service and replaced with a broken windshield.. tech says it's normal to have stress cracks.. my windshield is so broken it's a hazzard@ they went return my calls!! I sent pictures and they won't fix the problem they created. Now I'm driving with huge dangerous conditions and they took my money for replacement but made my issue worse.. they keep saying they will call me back but still haven't.... wish I could pictures. I had to drive 240 miles for this horrible service for the tech to say " stress cracks are normal"... read more

After 24 hours the rubber fell out! When I called the cust service 800 number I was told by *******to go to a local body shop to fix! I purchased the premium package! I saved the text and offered to show many of them and they didn't care to see it! It's like pulling teeth to get cust service to help you!

I had a very small (tip of a pen) size chip in my windshield that I thought I should get repaired before it became a crack where I would have to get the windshield replaced. My friend recommended Safelight and that was the worst decision I've made. The technician arrived and literally took 3 hours to repair. He kept starting and stopping and then had to leave to get a piece of equipment. Showed up for their first appointment and the technicians did not know what they were doing with a 2006 Lexus Windshield. They needed to order parts to do the job. After not hearing from themI called to find out they had cancelled my appointment. Rescheduled to have an original Lexus windshield installed that would come with all required. THE LOCATION LACKS PROFESSIONALISM AND HAS NO REGARD OR CONDIDERATION FOR THE TIME AND CONVIENCES OF THEIR CUSTOMERS.
