My 18 year old son’s rear window shattered on his drive back to college. That Sunday afternoon I scheduled a 8-1 appointment for Monday. The tech called my son at 8:30 Monday asking if the car was in a covered area as rain was expected. He moved it from his uncovered dorm lot to a covered parking garage a 5 minute walk from his dorm. If I could give this company a ZERO rating I would. I never do reviews, but this company is just plain horrible. They take advantage that they work with insurance companies. Back in November 2022 I submitted a claim for a chip very small size of a snow pea I would describe it. When the technician came out, he wouldn't let me move my car in the garage, he worked on it when it was drizzling, He made my chip worse and added 3 cracks to my windshield. Our insurance company scheduled service on Tuesday afternoon for us in the store -**** * ******** *** ********* ** *****. And due to some issues, they didn’t see the work orders and they want us to come back the next day. And On Wednesday, we came at 8 in the morning waited for 1 hour and they told us they forgot to order the glass mold. Ok, then we reschedule for Friday and wait over 1 hr, and they said they order the wrong parts or something. So extremely disappointed in the service I have received from Safelite Auto Glass. I brought my car in due to a cracked passenger window from a bad storm we had. The window was fixed in less than 30 minutes...that's either a really good or really bad sign. The guy told me the window had to set, so I drove my car home (40 minutes away mind you). Where do I start.Costomer service is horrible, kept getting hung up on. I had a small chip in my glass. They came out and "repaired" it. Left me with brown Dirty resin in the repair and the crack looks worse. Said there was nothing they can do but offer me $100 towards replacement.

Ignore the supposed Lifetime Warranty. I came back with a windshield they didn't install properly - which starting leaking in the rain. Clearly faulty workmanship - but they won't honor the 'lifetime warranty'. Instead I got 2 excuses from ******on LaCienega - the edges of Audi TT FACTORY windshields are too smooth to stay stuck with adhesive. So he not only wanted me to pay AGAIN to install a windshield, but also tried to sell me a new aftermarket windshield (because aftermarket's always better!). LOL and boy are they also ... read more

Safelite will not honor their warranty they come up with excuses for the reason they couldn't bring me a windshield that cracked within a hour of install ..

Safelight is a joke for 2 reasons: (1). They sell China made(yes cheap made) Window glass. Yes. Thin cheap crap. Their glass will chip with just the smallest slight rock hit(probably a grasshopper hitting). This thin cheap glass will also crack when these newer/thinner made car frames flex a bit. It's a joke. (2) Their customer service is ridiculous. Called to check on possible warranty. COULD NEVER TALK TO A LIVING ALIVE HUMAN BEING FOR MY QUESTIONS.
