Had a chip less then 1/2in repaired, the technician was alone and had multiple jobs going on at once. He installed the chip repair suction and walked away. Minutes later the suction pops off the window and puts resin all over my window. He rushes over to clean the window and the 1/2 chip is now 32inches across my window. After speaking to other windshield companies, I found out the tech is suppose to watch the chip and if it starts to spread during the repair he can stop the repair. horrible communication, actually no communication. 5 appointments scheduled now, unfortunately my insurance(****) forces customer to use safelite. 5 times i have had appointment in the last 3 months 5 times they dont have the glass, I have learned to schedule at 10:00 am so I can call when they open to confirm they have the glass, so far they havent . they dont bother to call me day before or day of to even tell me they dont have it, I schedule off work to get this dont as it has to be done in shop for calibration. First there are hidden fees, such as a recycling fee and a fee to have someone come to your vehicle and if you try to make an appointment at their location It says they’re booked out. After safelite arrived they told me they couldn’t do it because the windshield was pushed in, maybe they should have an area on the website where you can upload a photo I’m not sure what they expected. They don’t honor their warranty. I got the run around when I tried to reschedule an appointment for a bad repair on my windshield.

Please save your money and the aggravation. Find someone else to do the job who cares about the customer! Horrendous experience at this business. Dropped my vehicle off and waited to pick it up. Took 45 minutes, as promised. When I went to get into my vehicle, there were two prominent fresh scratches to the paint on the driver’s door. They basically accused me of lying and said that the scratches were there previously. Why on earth would someone make this up? This is the second time I tried to use Safelite. The first time was a total disaster, and told they could not get the trim parts due to the fact they were back-ordered. I asked where they source the parts, and was told 'From the dealer in ......'. I know this dealer and called. They had 10 window trims for my car on the shelf. This time, they didn't even show up and finally called to tell us the glass broke and they ordered a new one. They rescheduled for the next day and once again didn't show up.
