5/19/23- 7/7/23 Do not use Safelite. We have had five appointments and the windshield is still not replaced. They claim three times were due to a scratched windshield, once the truck did not come in and another they did not have the part for the windshield wipers. Terrible customer service as well.

I tried for 3 weeks in a row to get a new windshield. First one was broke next two appts they had the wrong windshield. I’ve been waiting 2 more weeks and no calls or a reschedule yet from them.

Lifetime warranty isn’t lifetime warranty like they advertise. Previously got a chip in my windshield awhile back and safelite repaired it. Of course it was a chip so there was scarring left over from the filling. Perfectly fine, no complaints. Now all of a sudden it slowly started spreading from the fill. I had called and spoke to safelite as they had told me- since it was not larger than a $1 bill it was okay and pretty much would be pointless to fill. I had a glass put in June 27,2023. On July 5,2023. I was riding down the street all sudden I hear a funny noise. It sounded like shattered maybe. I look up my wind sheild has a small crack in my windshield. I called and talk with customer service. Yes my windshield has warranty but it don’t cover that. I really pissed, because it’s not like something hit it, or anything. I was driving and this happened. On April 17th Safelite replaced my front windshield. I noticed on the driver side the rubber molding was missing. I contacted Safelite and scheduled an appt for May 8. On May 8th the technician (Michael) called and said he needs to order the part and someone will contact me. I called several times and the representative said someone will call me back. I'm not dealing with this company anymore. Calling the day of to cancel is crazy. Schedule was a week out .wanted to reschedule me a whole week out.

My 2023 experience with the **** ***** ******* *********Safelite was terrible; stay away from this poorly managed business. The installer evidently broke some of my 2012 BMW 750LIX windshield outer moulding retaining clips when installing a~$2,000 windshield but apparently chose not to mention it and let me discover loose mouldings when my car was first washed a few weeks after windshield replacement.
