I have had an extremely substandard experience with RH. Ordered white burlap drapes to the tune of almost $700. The order arrived with the wrong colors. It is now nearly 3 weeks later. They have my money and despite promises from RH, they have still not sent the correct order. I joined the "member's" program for access to better pricing but unfortunately, customer service isn't included. Did a complete renovation and spent nearly $30,000 with RH!! The expensive stainless steel vanity started to peel and rust within a year. They agreed to replace it. I'm having awful problems with delivery. Didn't arrive when it was scheduled. Manager was supposed to call me and didn't. No one answers the phone. And I have a contractor scheduled to install the vanity that I don't have. BTW – home is only 1.5 baths, so this is a major inconvenience to say the least!
Fantastic customer service today. I called into the contact centre for an issue with a table that I have had for years. Friendly and incredibly helpful agent. I didn't have my order details but RH has all records of my purchases. Very very impressed!

I like the designs of the hardware being sold by RH. Since we manufacture similar products in India, someday I would love to get in touch with RH. I've ordered twice, both times shipments had to be exchanged. I've spent an entire week going back and forth with a rude customer service rep. Lack of quality assurance is one thing but bad customer service too? This is the last time I will ever order from there. Staff in Houston is excellent, too bad the rest of the experience has been awful.
I absolutely LOVE the RH design. I have a few peices now. However, unfortunately things do not hold up. I bought two Club Lowell Recliners. In both of them the screws came loose and in one of them the fabric came undone. I had to call a furniture specialist to come in and fix the chairs. I was so disappointed to learn that the chairs were not made well according to him. Enough fabric was not used in one part on one chair, and in another, not enough was wood was put on to attach the screws correctly. Very very sad about this.... read more
