Same as Alan C, I wish I read these reviews before I spent close to $3.000 with those guys. The solar system I installed in my Jeep to be energy independent is absolutely unreliable. It is easier to talk to DMV or Medicare than to talk to Renogy Customer Service. Another hand, when I called their Sale Department to build my set up, I got their estimate via e-mail within minutes. Ordered 100W 12 V Suitcase w. Controller and alligator clips. Package showed up and alligator clip leads are not compatible with cables coming from controller. Am forced to swap red/black cables and as such the current from the controller does not appear to be charging the RV battery. Poor attention to detail (wrong cables). I will say that the panel itself and controller appear to be working. Re customer service, there is no phone # to contact in Canada, only an email. The following is my experience dealing with the Renogy customer support team regarding an issue that was never resolved to my satisfaction. Wish I had read these reviews before buying a Renogy solar controller that does not work. Customer service is absolutely non existent. On hold with them now and when the phone system answered i was at an 8 minute hold time. I am now up to 67 minutes?I have been trying day in-day out for the last ten days to get in touch with them. Start a ticket. This nets you a generic email. as of yet no one has tried to get in touch with me as they keep promising to do via generic emails. Worst customer service ever. I bought their charger and it quickly broke. I sent the video requested by their inept call centre and several followup emails but no response. Avoid this company.

I purchased a *** *** *****On-Board Battery Charger with MPPT solar controller in April 2022 and after installing the device noticed the device wasn't functioning. The solar functioned but not the alternator charging. I contacted renogy and went back and forth with them via email about the device and concluded that they weren't going to send me a functioning device in exchange. Absolutely terrible customer service. Haven't had a chance to use the almost $700 package I bought because several parts were missing. No phone number to call, dozens of emails with minimal, very unhelpful responses. My bad for not looking into the company more and reading reviews, although tried leaving a bad (very honest) review on their website, shockingly it wasn't 'approved' therefore not posted. This company has no regard for their customers, and should be ashamed of their business practices.

Orders a 200Ah battery and 300W solar panel kit. Battery showed up but nothing else. No Canadian phone number and the US number never goes through. Dozen emails to their support with no response. Have now contacted VISA to get my money back.

Bought panels, controller, battery, and other parts over a year ago. Used every day since install. No issues with sale, delivery time or performance. System still running strong. Sure others have had the same positive experience with the company.
