I purchased 2 renogy lithium batteries 2 years ago for my RV. This spring, they would not take a charge, completely dead. After 10 tries, I learned that you cannot call this company and they will not respond to e-mail. I accessed an online chat and they told me what I suspected, that I would need to "wake up" my BMS (battery management system) with a special $200 charger they could sell me. I bought the charger and it had no effect. I tried online chat again and could NOT reach a real person. The "product return" process req... read more

Purchased a 60 amp controller when I should have purchased the 100 amp, they would not allow me to exchange them. Now Im having trouble with the controller not working properly and I can not contact Rebogy, after about 10 minutes waiting I get a messages to leave a number, the problem is that they dont call back. Terrible customer service.

"Horrendous customer service! Don't expect to get any warranty issues resolved, after months of e-mails they keep providing lame excuses to deny a claim. I honestly think they just try to wear you down so you go away."I borrowed this review from another reviewer because it portrays my experience with this company EXACTLY. Believe the negative reviews and steer clear of this company.

Visited their website. Within seconds I received an email from them without providing my email. Meaning they took my IP address, utilized a 3rd party data mining company (new age spyware) to get my email address without my permission, then spammed me. Incredibly invasive and deceitful. I was going to buy a battery from them, but not after that. I will not do business with them.

I bought an 800 w system a little over a year ago and, the controller has failed and the 3 200Ah batteries are failing. After dealing with tech service they refuse to send me a new controller and batteries under warranty. Stay away from this company!!!! not worth saving a few dollars over their competitors.

I read the reviews after I purchased the panels. I am glad that I purchased the panels before I read the reviews!! I tried scanning the ** code that came on the card that came with the panels and was tracked to a third party site that I had no interest in what so ever. That site asked for credit card info. NOOO thanks. So I went to the Renogy site for warranty info and placed the order number from Amazon and no dice. I then did two party verification and was sent a code, I did this 3 times and no dice. Finally I did the old ... read more

I recently purchased 2 400W Renody light solar suitcase solar panels. One panel was shipped with damaged wiring caused by a missing grommet. This was discovered immediately upon unpacking the panel the day of delivery. I contacted Renogy on the day of delivery and they want me to test the electrical performance of the panel, and only if the missing grommet / damage to the wire is affecting it's solar performance will they agree to a replacement. I sent photos of the damage to the wire and the missing/mangled grommet that all... read more
