when I was provided my quote I was told I was purchasing unlimited illness and accident. Then after my dog was diagnosed with hip dysplasia my claim denied for waiting period In which I was never advised if waiting period for certain illnesses at time I was quoted. Had I known this I would have never signed up. im stuck now paying my monthly rate plus $1500.00 claim that was denied.
When we realized how little the policy covered and how difficult it was to file a claim, we tried to cancel our claim. We're still trying, over a year later. Give them your debit card number, and they can just keep taking money from your account indefinitely, telling you to jump through more hoops before they'll cancel your policy. Preparing to call my state attorney general.
Maybe be more diligent for the paperwork, leaving all up to the homeowner
Recommendedits very affordable. I had nver filed a claim wit Petfirst before. My sweet Mumby passed away Jan 9 from complications from pancreaitis. I filed the claim and had reimbursement with in 4 weeks. The process was very easy and straight forward.
Beware, this place is just like human insurance where they will do everything they can to deny your claim.
I was charged for a policy when I had a 30 day trial. I have since cancelled my renewal and have had to call numerous times to see where my money was. They "said" it went back into my account on the 17th and nothing. I called today for the 5th time to speak to a manager and there was no manager available. I am beyond mad! This is not a way to treat customers, The rep said she would have a manager call me back but not for 24 to 48 hours. I would think someone would call me back asap! But I guess not!
