RecommendedI have been blessed to have PetFirst as my insurance for my little Bubba since the day he became our family member. Two years ago, we were devastated that he was diagnosed with Granulomatous meningoencephalomyelitis (GME). My kitten succumbed to heart failure 5 days after I adopted him. He ended up at the emergency clinic on New Year’s Eve, where he had to be euthanized. Pet First has not followed through with the claim, and I would have spent every penny I had if I could have saved him. Pet First is only liable for $500 of his medical bills, but they have gone radio silent on dealing with the claim. Their claim service is horrible. They've had my claim for 2 weeks now, going on 3 weeks. Talked Asia in customer and she told me she'll look into it and call me back. Ask to speak to supervisor and they said one would call me back in 1 -2 days. She's telling me I need to send medical records when I was told last week that all paperwork was received. Disappointed in all the limitations, exemptions, and caps. I got insurance to give me peace of mind when something happens and all Pet First has done is brought headache, paperwork, and loopholes to worry about.
Stay Away!!!! Save yourself the trouble of their trouble with a claim!!!
