RecommendedI had my first experience with my dog hurting herself and the xrays and bloodwork was a pretty hefty price. This was the first claim I filed with PetFirst and minus the deductable the claim was paid and within a week the check was in the mail.

Would not recommend. I believe that there is a miscommunication between conversations with customer service representatives. I spoke to someone named Lori was very nice, however I still have have continued to receive misinformation, no understanding about my pets coverage and asked for the THIRD TIME for my husband to add me on the account. So easy when he added me and I updated our policy, but so hard when you want to CANCEL. BEWARE!!!!
WORST Pet Insurance on the planet. I wouldn't waste my time or $$$ with this company.
RecommendedI have filed two claims with PetFirst, and they processed them very quickly. They also paid for expenses for which I did not expect to be reimbursed. For my needs, PetFirst is the best value for my dogs. The premiums and deductibles are lower than most companies, and for the price the coverage is better.

RecommendedI have had PetFirst Pet Insurance for both of my dogs for a number of years. They have always been prompt, efficient and pleasant - and helpful when there was something that needed to be resolved. They're great!
RecommendedOnce the $250 deductible is met, PetFirst covers 90% of Buddy's medical bills. Having gotten Buddy from the Humane Society, I did not know his previous medical issues. The Humane Society gave me 30 days free coverage after his adoption. Then I purchased PetFirst Medical Insurance for him when he came home, he was having coughing and wheezing.
