Brought dog in, diagnosed wiyh dermatitis, given meds. You separated office visit and meds as 2 separate things because i mentioned another problem she had. It was a passing comment and nothing done for it. You, however , said it was 2.problems she was treated for so even tho over the $250 deductible, wouldn't pay for it. This is 2nd time this has happened. Communication poor. My vet called twice and had trouble with ecplanation.
We've been using PetFirst for four years now and couldn't be happier. Our dog Posey rescued us when she was only 4 months old. She's had the typical dog issues over the last few years, but this year she needed abdominal surgery and tore her thigh muscle. Needless to say, we maxed out our coverage. PetFirst never balked on anything over the last four years. As long as you provide the required documentation they ask for... you're golden. We got PetFirst Insurance right after we rescued and adopted our puppy last fall. He decided to eat something and had a foreign object in his stomach.. After several vet visits with xrays, ultrasounds, medicines, and $1400 later, our vet decided surgery wasn't necessary. We filed our claim and right away it was approved. We received our money within two weeks. I highly recommend using them for your pet!

Pet First has been terrific! My puppy is a rescue, my first , and they have been so helpful with advice and with my insurance! He has been such a joy in my life I can’t imagine it without him! Over miss communication from them, they don’t answer emails, information are poor, too long process. They really don’t care for customer experience. And now the only reimbursement that I have right I needed to ask several times to send me the check, after 24 days of the claim submitted I received the check but it returned because they stopped the check. Kind of a joke this company, now 27 days after the claim submitted I don´t have the reimbursement and have cost in reference to this stopped check in my bank account. Avoid P... read more
