They could actually cover what they say they will when signing up for the policy. This is a scan out for money and not wanting to actually help pets.

A couple of weeks ago my dog Noltie took of after a couple Coyotes. They got into it. Noltie killed one and ended up with a couple bite puncture wounds. Took him to the vet . He got some Antibiotics and is doing fine. The next day I submitted my claim and today I was notified it had been processed. I was very impressed with how fast the process was . I have been requesting a check for the same claim #PFH1055968-01 that was approved five months ago. I haven’t received a single check from Petfirst, and the customer service simply reissues the check and asks me to wait for additional three weeks. I don’t blame the employees in the customer service since they are simply following the protocols, but their lack of ability to fix my honest request is a big disappointment. they gladly take your money for years when the dog is healthy....but as soon as your dog turns 10 (and you might really need the ins) SLAM. Huge increase nobody can afford! lesson learned.

Have had kitty insurance for years now with pet first. It is like any insurance. You pay your premiums and then it is there when you need it. They have many different levels of insurance that can fit any budget. Claim submission is easy on the computer. The people that work there are very kind and patient. I would highly recommend pet first.

I called in today to see why there was no payroll deduction for my policy. And when I checked the account it showed it was terminated. When I called the agent I spoke with said she didn't see any notes on the account and count not tell why it was canceled. She said she would need to pass it along to a supervisor and then call me back. Always up to assist when I need them.
Takes more than a month to get reimbursed, even when you have all necessary documentation in, even though their website claims "up to 15 business days for processing and delivery." :( Two times the check was not enclosed in the "check enclosed" envelope. Everyone I talked to was nice, but this is very disappointing. It's very expensive insurance and having to wait so long for reimbursement seriously diminishes the value.
