I come here every few months to see neuro-ophthalmologist Dr. Rizzo, for my intracranial hypertension. He and his team are absolutely fantastic. I know I'm in good hands and that they actually care about me and the health of my eyes!
I was diagnosed with a pleomorphic Adenoma in August of this year and decided to get a second opinion. I went to see Dr. Deschler in September. He is an amazing physician. Very thorough and very personable. Had my surgery on October 24 and don't regret anything. I am very happy with my surgery results. I had a right parotidectomy. Doctor Veldman and the entire staff at mass eye and ear are amazing! Having surgery is never fun, and it's almost always painful. Knowing that you are in capable hands of people who strive for excellence makes the experience much more manageable. We Would recommend them to anyone.
The best doctors and nurses!! The best care and attention given to patients
This is my 2nd time at this facility and I visited another area. I can't say enough great things about MEE!
My 8 year old had her abenoids & tonsils out. She had the best surgical team, they were warm and friendly. They went above and beyond to make her feel comfortable an turned this experience it's a pleasant one. Dr. Mankarious is amazing and very attentive. I would absolutely recommend Mass Eye and Ear.
My 9 year old son had his tonsils and adenoids out yesterday. The recovery nurse, Janelle, was fabulous-she taught us so much about the aftercare and gave Henry a "wicked brace" award. Up on the floor, Henry was taken care of by Widlyn and Jane who could not have been more kind and capable. On the way home, Henry whispered, "I feel like I was taken care of by the best nurses in the country and that they were only taking care of me."
What a first class hospital. Staff was great and the surgeon one of the best. They made sure I was informed every step of the way. I had a retina attached.
The doctors are great, but the wait times are terrible, from the ER to regular appointments. I had a cornea problem that required appointments every 2 weeks, and it always was at least 2 hrs to get to the 5 min check-up. Not good for a patient in pain, or if you have other appointments to get to etc. (The Neuro-Ophthalmology department has been the exception--always on time.)
