My husband, Rich, and I were absolutely impressed with how we were treated with regard to Rich's back operation. EVERYONE from admitting to the person who wheeled him out after he was released was caring, positive, and pleasant. We will sing Maine Med's praises!
The doctor was great. The staff, wonderful. However, I was told,"we can't give you an MRI or X-ray because we don't have enough medical evidence that you need one, and that would be medical fraud to order one." So because he insurance company doesn't want to pay for people to stay healthy, we suffer. I NEED AN X-RAY DONE. Maine med won't give me one until I reach a point that I am incontinent, experiencing foot numbness and pelvic pain.
Customer service is getting to be as good as Mercy hospital. Keep up the good work
