I had a minor back surgery there yesterday that was done by Dr. Conrad Barth from Southern Maine Neurology and Spine. He is by far the nicest surgeon I have ever met. First day after my surgery and I feel instant relief from my sciatic nerve. All of the nurses and anesthesiologist were wonderful! Highly recommend him and Maine Med.
My friend and I were there for about 7 hours yesterday when we could have been there for about 4, but the staff seemed to forget about us. There was a handful of really nice workers, but most of the staff was disrespectful, rude and unhelpful so much that I ended up going home in tears. Spent almost 10 hrs today in the ASU. Everyone was awesome. So polite and concerned. They all seemed to be enjoying their jobs, which can be hard I'm sure. A big shout out to our Nurse Irene...50 yrs as a Nurse helping others, doing it with a smile on her face and some good banter to take away the nerves! Thank you to all!
