From the friendly and helpful volunteers at the front desk, to our Nurse Liddy in pre-op, to Dr Wilson and the surgical staff (and definitely the anesthesiologist who's name I regrettably don't remember! ), the nurses in recovery, and the nurses at the Barbara Bush Children's Hospital, it has been excellent care and concern for my son and our family. My 2 year old grandson got jabbed 7 times in one arm and 5 in the other by someone in the lab trying to put in an iv. It's totally unexcepable to me that someone would do that. Now he is terrified of Dr and nurses. He still has testing needed but had a nightmare over it! They need pediatric people doing this.
My wife has been here over a month now. Everything that I've seen so far has been good. It is very clean here. I feel that she is in good hands. So far they have explained everything to me before they do anything each and every time. I've had only one issue and they took care of my concerns. Thank you Maine Medical my wife is on her way to getting better. My wife has had great Doctors, specialists and great nurses. THANK YOU
My wife came in for heart surgey on Jan 25th. They operated the next day. It all seemed to go fine as she was walking in a couple of days but within 5 days she had taken a turn for the worse and was moved back to the ICU as it was discovered she gotten a staff infection during surgery. The medical care and personal care is top notch. I can not praise this hospital enough.
Last February my dad went in for a 4 way bypass the doctor lied to us about his condition they put false hope into his recovery! I think that's what hurts the most about his passing!! Is the false hope they gave instead of being honest .... Don't lie to family's!! we would of like to have known from the start and (( if )) that miracle happen that he came out alive that would of been grate!! WHEN YOUR DAUGHTER BECAUSE THE STAFF FORGETS BEDRAILS AND BED ALARM IIN ICU, FALLS GETS THREE NOSE FRACTURES TO GO WITH THE OTHER 14 THAT SHE PREVIOUSLY HAD DUE TO AGGRESSIVE CPR, CODING 10 TIMES, WELL THAT WAS A GREAT CALL TO RECEIVE IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT.
