We place an order of over $5k for appliances for our kitchen remodel as well as a washer and dryer. It was nothing short of a nightmare from start to finish. We then canceled the order and started over and the same exact thing happened again. Receiving calls stating items were going to be delivered and then receiving another call to advise they can't find the items in a warehouse so the item is canceled. Very POOR Customer Service. Good luck finding any help (even before the corona virus). No one ever answers the phone, sometimes you get hung up on or it keeps going back to when you first call and gives you options of what area you want. GO on line and cant check status of my order it was supposed to be in store today for pick up. They Seriously Need competition in Gulf Breeze, maybe then they will actually allow staff members to work full time and help customer service. I have purchased 10k of appliances from Lowes and they have been giving me the run-a-round for over 3 weeks on when the order was placed, when it will be delivered and everything in between. I was in Texas this weekend expecting to have my REF. delivered. i called the store friday the pro desk said they are really busy please give them my order number and telephone number and they will call back. Well Lowes shows again how it's business model really works, well for them not the customer. I am a very loyal customer and I have a Lowes CC. We recently purchased a new house and because of the Covid 19 pandemic I decided to order moving supplies online and have it delivered because they said it would be delivered in 5 to 7 days, that's fine this was March 23rd and we weren't moving until April 27th or so. But a week and a half goes by and I receive a notice stating that I would not be received until the middle of April, which is so late to just start packing. Lowe's said if I got a certain amount of money when I was shopping online I'd get free shipping. I spent about $60 and then got a notification for pick up!? At pick up, the items weren't right and only got about $12 of merchandise I had ordered. Then another week or so later I get another email that pickup for one item was ready. Waited in line 30 minutes, another 30 minutes for associates to try to find the item in the store (it was in fact NOT ready for pickup). Then I learn they don't even have it! Will never buy on terms again. We purchased a washing machine on a 12-month no interest. It was impossible to pay my minimum payment, then pay extra on the no-interest balance. They ALWAYS put the entire amount on the total bill. This way, there seemed to be absolutely no way to pay off the interest free balance before it converted to an interest accumulating item. We spent $1700 for a new washer and dryer. The delivery was supposed to come with a hook-up of our new appliances with the amount of money we spent. Instead, the men just dumped them in our room (while complaining the whole time). We paid extra to have our old appliances hauled away, and they were also complaining that our older appliances were too heavy.
