Rarely leave any posts but sharing in hopes others don't fall into the same trap. Ordered a Bosch 300 Series dishwasher and went with Lowes as they had an Installation Rebate offer ($180 in savings). While this review isn't triggered by what follows (understand it happens) I will share some of the unnecessary pains that Lowes could have spared the customers. I would rated zero if I can. Bought a whole house generator 4 years ago and each year found out one and another room not connected to the generator. This year found out that the central ac system not connected to the generator. Told specially, stated most important is the kitchen refrigerator, heating and cooling system and sump pump. If I could give 0 stars I would. Please don't deal with this guy ***************************** and Lowes customer service. I placed an order in April for 2 doors and a storm door. No communication from this guy until I called him in June on the status of my install. I ordered a GE washer and dryer from Lowe's online. I assumed the appliances were being delivered by my local Lowe's store, but found out they were being delivered by XDT. I called my local Lowe's store and was given XDT's number (no response). No one wanted to speak with me and said they would call back. I have sent emails (no response). Do not order anything on line at Lowes. The delivery men unpacked it by the truck and damaged it. We refused a delivery due to damage and are still trying to get a refund to our credit card. Delivery men would not leave us any paper work. They were also rude.. I have been trying since May to get this resolved.
Sunday morning I went into lowes to purchase a fridge. My fridge stopped working and I needed one delivered asap. I specifically chose a fridge that was in stock and could be delivered quickly and scheduled the delivery for today, Tuesday. The store just called me saying they were unable to deliver the fridge today because there was "no room on the delivery truck" and they were unable to provide me with a time that they'd be able to deliver it.For obvious reasons this is extremely frustrating.
STOP!!! DO NOT BUY APPLIANCES AT LOWES!!! I paid for a new refrigerator and have had the worst customer service experience ever! They delivered a refrigerator with a huge, deep scratch all the way across the top of the 36 front doors, it had 3 more scratches that were 3 to 5 inches long. I had to unload my fridge and freezer onto the counter for 3 hours. The left the scratched unit so I put my food items in it. We had a contractor that came out to our house for a for offense we wanted to install, he forged my signature, and then when we were supposed to have installation the person did not show up and now we have to wait a whole another week before we get installation possibly The last time I checked forging somebody's signature was illegal and possibly a felony I want a discount more than $500 I would like my Phantom stalled immediately
Spent 9k at Lowes for Shenandoah Cabinetry. Ordered @Lowes *********************************************. After waiting all that time we received subpar cabinetry. Cracked, poor painting, chipped cabinets for about 80% of them. I understand damage can happen while in transit but this was overkill & some of this damage should have been caught at the factory b4 shipping. I contacted Georgia immediately.
