This business Lexington Law doesn't help or fix nothing after almost 6 months I seen no change in my credit report or them getting rid of the things that are paid off with a 0 balance and the say we can fix this. So I trusted that they could do this but I was wrong so now I warn anyone don't used these crooks. They lie about helping people but all the after is your hard earn money what a waste of time.

Business response:

Lexington regrets to hear of any dissatisfaction this client had while a client with Lexington. Lexington represents and helps thousands of individuals each year in credit repair to ensure what is on their reports is an accurate portrayal of their credit history. Unfortunately, Lexington cannot guarantee removals as the creditors and/or the credit bureaus ultimately make the decision to report a derogatory item. The fact that a negative account has a $0 balance does not ensure it will be removed from a credit report as the r... read more

Lexington Law Firm promised action on disputing a negative credit report filed against me. I contend that the report was submitted in error due to local back malfeasance. Lexington Law told me what steps it would take tio challenge that filing. After 6 months with monthly charges in excess if 100 dollars Nothing has been done other then sending me notifications that there have been "no changes" in my three separate credit service reports. I get monthly reports that notofoes me of changes even though the LL says "no changes" ... read more

Business response:

Lexington Law Firm regrets to hear of the problems Mr. ****** had with the negative item on his credit report. Lexington assists its clients, in part, by challenging the negative items on credit reports to ensure our clients have an accurate credit history. Lexington cannot control the outcome of these challenges as items appearing on credit reports are placed there at the discretion of the creditor and/or the credit bureaus. Lexington diligently challenged the item Mr. ****** mentioned should not be on his credit report and... read more

Lexington Law is the biggest joke the people are liars and rude they took me for 89.86 included overdraft fees for canceling our accounts and charged me a monthly fee for mine. I requested a refund was on hold for a hour and twisted everything around a refused to even help me

Business response:

Lexington does not charge any fees if someone decides to end services. Lexington collects payments in accordance with the credit Repair Organizations Act, which in part states that payments for credit repair cannot be taken until after services are rendered. When individuals end Lexington’s services, they are billed for services already performed on their cases. Upon review of person’s case who made this review, it is noted that no money has yet to be paid to Lexington, yet disputes were sent to the credit bureaus and letter... read more

SCAMMERS &a CHEATERS, these are strong words but this company will not disappoint you in disappointing you. Lol Stay away from this so called financial advisory firm. These are my personal experiences with them; 1. Before starting a membership they will call you multiple times but once you paid them, no one addresses your concerns anymore. 2. In their site they promise to get rid of your negative items in 2-3 months ( on an average 5-6 negative items). LIE BIG LIE. In my case just 1 item removed in 4 months 3. Be aware ... read more

Business response:

Lexington Law Firm does not hold itself out to be a financial advisory firm, but rather a consumer advocacy law firm that focuses on ensuring our clients have a fair and accurate credit profile. We do this by making sure the credit bureaus and creditors meet their obligations under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Each client’s case is different and some will see different levels of success as Lexington cannot guarantee removals. Lexington bills clients in accordance with the Credit Repair Organizations Act, which states that ... read more

This company is a rip-off. I wanted to cancel my service and was told that I was charged for the services rendered. However a full month had not passed and they wanted to charge me twice for service. If you can stay away from this company. The rep constantly had reported my information wrong and had the nerve to tell me I was incorrect eventhough I had the credit reports for the whole year in front of me. It had gotten bad to the point where one rep had quoted somebody's else report as mine.

Business response:

Lexington Law Firm is disappointed to hear about this client’s experience. Lexington provides five (5) days for a client to cancel their service without penalty. A fee is charged five (5) to fifteen (15) days after the client engaged Lexington’s representation, which is separate from any monthly fee. Lexington encourages its clients to contact our paralegals directly regarding billing questions.

Worked with LLaw for about 4 months at $119.95 for 1st month then $99.95 for the remaining. Reaching a Customer Service person when I had questions took over an hour ...over an hour on hold till someone was available, on several occasions. Astonishing! They routinely send email updates on activity or inactivity but vague in description. So I found it valuable to follow up with their work, by calling, asking specific questions, prodding for information, in order to get more depth on what they were doing, how the credit system... read more

I used the services of Lexington Law for approximately 2 years. In that time I had ZERO positive adjustments in my credit score. I seriously believe this "law firm" to be a joke. A bunch of shysters.

Business response:

Lexington Law Firm challenges questionable items appearing on our clients’ credit reports. Each case is unique, and results vary. Lexington cannot guarantee any specific outcome or result, such as an improved credit score. Although credit scores are primarily based on credit reports, credit scores are obtained separately from credit reports. Credit scores can change frequently.

My experience with Lexington Law was by far the worst, border-line criminal, that I've never seen with any other credit repair company. I experienced 30 min holds and longer with no call back if you choose that option everytime. On -line chat was worse no one on the other end. I added my wife and then they told me they could not open her file that I need it to open a new account. I said no, just cancel this account they said they couldn't. I finally spoke to someone who refunded me 54.00, A few month later, on 06/28/2017 I f... read more

Business response:

Lexington regrets to see a review of this nature. Lexington protects its clients’ information and does not discuss cases with third parties without proper authorization. Some clients offer to pay for other clients’ cases; however, clients remain in control of the actions taken on their own cases at all times. Lexington informed this individual that it would be unable to take action on his wife’s case without her authorization. Although this client cancelled his case with Lexington, his cancellation would not have affected an... read more

I signed up with Lexington Law to get some negative items out of my credit report, after speaking with a financial adviser I decided to end my membership, I signed up on the 20th and called to canceled July 26th and I was told I could not get a refund, even though I have not taken advantage of their services at all. They are suppose to charge for a month of services, I just started my membership and have not taken advantage of any services but they still refuse to give me a full return. I will continue to try to contact them... read more
