This place is an absolute joke! They will charge your account and do no work on your credit report. According to Lexington my account has been closed for over a year and they are still taking money out my account! Don't buy in to what they are selling. Worst experience ever!

Business response:

Lexington Law Firm regrets to hear of any trouble this former client has had with billing. Lexington bills its client in strict adherence to the Credit Repair Organizations Act and only bills and collects payments after it has performed work for the client. Upon review of this former client’s case there were no payments taken out on her case. There were also no payments taken out on this individual’s co-client’s case except the normal fees associated with Lexington’s services. Lexington has indicated several times to this in... read more

I un-enrolled with Lexington Law approximately 3 (three) years ago and, the "Law" firm continues to randomly charge me $59.95! I have been unsuccessful in getting any of my funds returned even after repeated calls and E-mails. This "law" firm continues to use fraudulent practices ~ DO NOT USE LEXINGTON LAW!

Business response:

Lexington Law Firm regrets to hear of any trouble this former client has had with any billing. Lexington bills its client in strict adherence of the Credit Repair Organizations Act and only bills and collects payments after it has performed work for the client. Lexington only takes payments from the method the client places on file, whether on their own case or on the case of another. Additionally, Lexington does not randomly bill any client. The engagement agreement each client must sign before becoming a client outlines th... read more

On May 18th I called Lexington Law Firm, to see about repairing my credit. My first conversation was with a individual named Sherry. She was telling me about how good the company was and what the fees would be. I asked her if they were BBB certified, of course she said yes. Then came the question about the fees. I had a little doubt, because she was more interested about getting my debit card number than anything else. I told her at that time that I could not have this money(fee)come out of my account until June 5th, and I k... read more

Business response:

Lexington regrets to hear of any problems this individual may have had with Lexington’s credit repair services. When a client enrolls, Lexington tries to be as helpful as possible when it comes to billing and dates payments are due. Upon receiving this comment, an attorney from Lexington reviewed this individual’s case and reached out to assist her with her concerns. As of the time of this response the attorney has not been able to reach this individual, but would encourage her to contact Lexington so they can straighten out... read more

Service is highly automated with seemingly no one working there...don't answer emails; offer a chat function where no agent is available; and one will die before their 800 number is answered. Beginning to think these guys are charlatans and their $300,000 settlement with the State of Maryland confirms that strong impression. Time to get The US Attorney's office to investigate these characters.

Business response:

Lexington Law Firm regrets to hear of any problems this individual may have had in trying to communicate about his case. Lexington is committed to helping all of its clients achieve their goals in trying to repairing their credit. Lexington keeps its clients updated on their cases by offering a client website that shows what actions are being done on their behalf and what actions the client would like to take going forward. Lexington also informs clients of updates through text message and email. Clients may communicate dire... read more

I got transferred to Lexington Law from AmOne as I was looking at my options for a business loan. I was got off guard and didn't know what Lexington Law was, but they somehow opened a case for me and told me that they would repair my credit rating which wasn't really bad to begin with. They did "work" on my "case" that I never authorized – in fact, I had expressly insisted they hold off on doing anything on my behalf until I was able to do research on the company. Once I did research and found countless negative reviews and ... read more

your customer service is terrible, put on hold for hours, cancelled out 5 days after I signed up still taking money out of my bank account if it happens one more time I will be suing the **** out of you

Business response:

Reviewed client's case in connection with BBB Online comment he made. In reviewing client's email, he sent an email on 4/8 asking that his case be closed. This email was not saved to REV until 4/12. Because client sent the email two days after signing up he closed his case within his right of rescission and should not have been charged. Based on this I refunded the payments client made totaling $69.90.

I received a cold call and 2 texts from different numbers from lex law all nearly simultaneously. They were referring to a credit report that I did not file and were completely out of the blue. I think likely they bought my info from some seller (possibly a used car dealership). By sending texts from 2 different numbers they're signaling that they're going to keep spamming me until I respond. I'm afraid to text back STOP, otherwise I might indicate my number is active and they might pass my info to other spammers. This is co... read more

My complaint is that they took out there payment of $119.00, without the consent of the clients, they took it out two days after the clients called and ask some information, about credit repair, the client that called is my RoomMate and he has Parkinson and his memory is not good at all, and he is on disability and one income, they took the $119.00, without his consent, or knowledge. To me this is bad business practice, and i feel they took advantage of him.On the website you cannot get much info at all, this law firm actual... read more
