DONT TRUST A WORD THEY SAY!!!!!!!! My husband & I decided to go through them to get our credit fixed. The guy told us it would be $40 a MONTH for BOTH of us. & they also said the money would be taken out of our account on the 14th of every month. Which is a flat out lie!!! October 9, they took out $80! I called them & I talked to different guy, he said that was just a one time deal, which the FIRST guy never said. He told my husband & I both that it would be $40 a month until our credit was fixed. So my husband & I both can... read more

Business response:

Lexington Law always regrets to hear that a former client has had a negative experience with our firm. When such situations arise, Lexington does everything possible to resolve the situation. Lexington uses the initial phone call to explain in detail every aspect of our standard billing practices. Additionally, all these terms are included in the initial Engagement Agreement. The funds that this former client paid on October 14, 2017 were past due payments from service already rendered, since Lexington bills in arrears for w... read more

I WAS WITH LEXINGTON LAW FOR A YEAR AND HALF. THEY DID NOT CLEAN MY CREDIT ALL THAT MUCH.

Business response:

Lexington regrets to hear it was not able to help this individual as much as he would have liked. Lexington has not represented him for over two years, but based on past records show that he had twenty six negative items removed from his credit reports while a client with Lexington an when he terminated the relationship only had eight remaining on his reports. Lexington sent out a number of challenges to credit bureaus and letters to creditors on the client’s behalf in order to do what it could to assist him.

I was told by a representative that Lexington Law Firm could help remove late payments from my CR - all I needed to do was to make an initial payment of $50 and have recurring debits of $120 until I was happy with my results. However, the rep said it would likely take at least 60-90 days before I could see any results because the company initially challenges the negative marks on my CR and then allows the creditor to respond. Well as of 90 days I have not seen any results on my CR. I received a copy of the challenge letter s... read more

Business response:

Clients with Lexington must sign an engagement agreement before representation begins. The agreement continues on a month to month basis until the representation is terminated. The Fair Credit Reporting Act allows for companies and the credit bureaus to have certain time limits in which to investigate items being challenged. Because of these time limits and the inability to guarantee items will be removed, credit repair is not normally a quick fix, but rather can take longer periods of time depending on an individual’s credi... read more

If I could keep from giving them one star I would have do that. This was nothing short of a bait and switch scheme to get money from me. My contacting them may have hurt my credit more than help it. I regret making any form of contact with this company.

Business response:

Lexington began representing this individual according to the engagement agreement he signed, authorizing Lexington to work on his behalf. The engagement agreement sets forth the services Lexington offers as well as the client’s rights and obligations, including payments that are owed. Lexington always operates on a month to month agreement which may be terminated by the client any time he wants. If a client does not terminate the representation, Lexington will continue to represent that person according to the terms of the ... read more

Lexington Law Firm has not loaded my Equifax credit report after receiving it over a month ago. To make matters worst they are using a old 2016 credit report for disputes. I have called several time and was told that you will see it load with in 24 hours. The last time I called the rep said that she would call me back I promise I just need to look into what is going on. Lexington Law Firm Has no problem taking my payment...

Business response:

Lexington obtains its credit reports directly from the three bureaus. In some circumstances those credit reports may not be obtained because of demographical differences between the credit reports and what Lexington has. In these situations clients must either contact the bureaus to ensure the information is correct or supply Lexington with a copy of their credit reports so Lexington can continue to challenge and send letters to creditors on the clients’ behalf. Lexington is currently looking into this individual’s situation... read more

I signed up with Lexington Law to get a car repo off of my credit back in June. It is now september and the car repo has not been challenged yet. I received 4 "Return To Sender" letters from other items disputed because Lexington Law sent letters to wrong address. I decided to read the letter to see what they are actually sending the creditors and I could not believe what I read. The letter was poorly writted, letter started off with "I was hoping you could help me out." Also, I was told by sales that the letters would be wr... read more

Business response:

Lexington Law Firm represents its clients in credit repair by sending challenges to the credit bureaus and letters to the creditors. Lexington performs these actions on behalf of the creditors and in their name, as stated in the engagement agreement, which each client must sign before Lexington will begin to represent them. Lexington relies on the address listed in the credit report to send letters to creditors, and if any letters are returned it urges clients to contact Lexington immediately so the issue can be addressed. This place is a scam. They tried to start charging me before I even gave them my information. They serve no purpose whatsoever, and CLAIM to be represented by a group of real lawyers. I'm guessing these lawyers got their degrees at the University of Phoenix. They will reply to this message and try to reasonably argue with what I say, but please, I urge you to not waste your time with their shenanigans. I'm surprised they haven't been sued or investigated. *Hint Hint*

Business response:

Lexington Law Firm has assisted thousands of clients by helping to remove negative items from their credit reports. Any potential clients can have a free credit consultation to decide if Lexington’s services can help them. If a person decides to move forward and engage Lexington to represent him, then all fees and payments are discussed and included in the engagement agreement to be signed before representation begins. Any person with questions about Lexington’s services should contact Lexington or review its website, which ... read more
