This is the worst credit business you could chose. This company is a scam, they don't even have phones that work. How can you work with a credit company that has you on hold for hours. I have litterally called 52 times in the past 48 hours, i have been lied to repeatedly and treated without any respect! The last manager refused to "CANCEL MY SERVICE" stating that my case was closed. VICTORIA the last manager i spoke with is a unkind person and who refused to speak to me, was talking over me the entire time and then hung up o... read more
Business response:
Lexington is sorry to hear of the bad experience Mr. ***** had in the brief time he was a client of Lexington. According to a review of his case, Mr. ***** called to terminate Lexington’s services within three hours of becoming a client. Mr. ***** was able to speak with a paralegal at Lexington who promptly ensured his case was closed and sent an email to him to informing him of that action. As Mr. ***** terminated his case within the right of rescission, he was not charged by Lexington for any services.
This business is not honest as they put out to be, while dealing with this company over a 6 month time period I was given very little help, my score which was mid 600s at the time stayed about the same. I was given some much mixed information, I’m left with nothing but lies, thoughts of betrayal, and lower funds than I had when I went to them to better my life.
Business response:
Lexington is disappointed to read of this client’s bad experience with Lexington. Based upon a review of her case, this client was only with Lexington for just over one month and was able to see several negative items deleted off her credit reports after Lexington challenged several of these items with the credit bureaus and sent letters on her behalf to creditors. Lexington did not have a credit score for this client, but understands that the credit history found in the credit reports is only one factor that goes into a cre... read more
Bad Business all around this business has an average of an hour before you even get them on the phone. They tell you inaccurate information to keep you paying for their service. Quality of work is decent, but I don't like paying for things and not knowing what I'm truly getting. Would rather fight my credit issue ALONE than be scammed!
Business response:
Lexington has several different ways for clients to communicate about their case, including over the phone, by chat, or by email. Clients are also able to see updates and make changes to their case on the client website that allows clients to login whenever is convenient to them. Lexington is unsure what is meant by inaccurate information, but clients can also see exactly what is happening on their case and view updated credit reports directly from the client website.
Helped more than I thought they would be able to I highly recommend Lexington law, to anyone that need help with their bad credit rating got mine looking better than I thought they could and in a very short time you need to contact them and let them do the work for you!
ive been working with Lexington law for the past year and they have been charging me 99.00 a month to do what because my credit has not improved it has gone down since they started taking 99.00 a month from me so idk how they are still in business.
Business response:
Lexington Law Firm is sorry to hear of Mr. *********’s dissatisfaction while a client with Lexington. Mr. ********* was a client with Lexington in 2013 for a short period and decided to again engage Lexington in 2017 to assist him in ensuring the items listed on his credit reports are an accurate and substantiated portrayal of his credit history. Lexington represented Mr. ********* for a period of just over three months in 2017 and collected one payment of $99.95 from him, based on a review of his case. Mr. ********* was for... read more
I've been working with Lexington Law for about 1.5 months and to date, they've successfully increased my credit score by 20 points and removed 8 negative creditors off of my record. I've been insecure about my credit score for years and started to think that there's not much I can do but after the great experience I've had so far, I do believe there's hope for me.
I read both the positive reviews and negative reviews posted on the bbb website before i chose to do business with lexington law. It looks like some people have unreasonable expectations when hiring lexington to represent them. I had never done business with lexington before but i have a basic understanding of how attorneys do their thing. My experience with lexington law was completely positive. I had a couple unpaid medical bills, less than $500 each, a fraudulent cell phone bill, and a repo from 8 years ago on my credit h... read more
I just got off the phone with a representative who was completely rude to me and hung up on me. My card was shut off by my bank and I was offering a new card to post my payment, the lady told me there is a $19.99 charge for that. I explained I am an owner of a financial entity myself and process payments all day with my merchant and that is NOT the charge for a payment failing to post on a master card. I expressed that I would like to see an invoice documenting these charges and I will gladly pay. She then cut me off and sta... read more
Business response:
Lexington Law Firm values all of its clients and is concerned to hear about any issues that may have arisen with Lexington’s customer service. An attorney from Lexington has reviewed this client’s case and will reach out to speak with him about this issue and his case going forward.
What this "firm" does you can do for yourself. In 2015 I applied for a rent to own home. I was referred to Lexington Law to help me out. One week later I received a returned letter with my address that had been sent to one of creditors. This letter was supposedly written by me asking to have the negative remarks removed from my credit report. I thought I was paying them to write a letter from a law firm not typing a letter I did not dictate.
Business response:
