I signed up with Lexington Law because they are about the only credit repair company that handles Mississippi. Paid $15 on the day I sign up and thn 129.95 five days later. I realized quickly that I had to do a lot of the grunt work for anything to happen. So I decided to cancel the service 23 days into it. They recieved my cancellation letter on the 29th day of service and sent me an email saying I owed 99.53 for services rendered. I guess the first $145 I paid was for nothing. Big waste of time and if you research reviews ... read more
Business response:
Lexington is disappointed that this client had a negative experience with Lexington's billing practices. All billing practices are outlined in the Engagement Agreement and follow all relevant state and federal law. We wish this former client luck in his future credit repair efforts.
I reside in Maryland and I needed assistance with some debt and decided to go with Lexington Law. I callled in June regarding a massive payment that was taken out of my account. The "handler" told me that it was all state law and policy and upon coming to a close he stated that he would waive the fee for the next month. Here we fast forward to the following month and I was charged $109.95 for their services. I called and the next handler spewed the same line as before and would not adhere to the arrangement of the previous h... read more

Lexington is disappointed to hear that this client had a negative experience while with Lexington. This client was billed according to standard billing practices for her state. Lexington took steps that it feels is a fair resolution to this issue.
I have had them for months and NOTHING! I keep calling and asking what is going g o and I get the run around. NOBODY is o the same page AND the lawyer (if there is any) doesn't do anything! It's just copy and paste with pre formatted letters you can get off google. I needed help and I thought they could do SOMETHING to help like they said but no. DO NOT SIGN UP WITH LEXINGTON LAW, IT IS A SCAM!
Business response:
Lexington is disappointed to hear that this client had a negative experience during his time with Lexington. Lexington strives to help every client it represents. Unfortunately, sometimes clients don't see the results that they hope for, despite Lexington's best efforts. We wish this client luck in the future.
BEWARE!!!This place is a scam. Five months paying 109.00, and nothing changed on my credit report, even though I had proof I didn’t owe the bill in collections. After I cancelled, they still took another payment of 151.89 with no permission. Stay far away, they steal your money and do not help at all!
Business response:
Lexington strives to achieve results for each client it represents. This client had just one negative item that, unfortunately, remained on the account. However, Lexington completed all the work for this client under the Engagement Agreement. Lexington has taken steps that it feels is a fair resolution this complaint.
Lexington Law- NEGATIVE I informed a representative that I was willing to be charged $14.99 for s credit report but financially not able to pay $129.95 for a plan; being I am on disability. He assured me OVER and OVER I would only be billed 14.99. He lied to me, deceived me and billed me for The Premium plan. Two months and I am financially unable to pay for medication due to this unscrupulous scam. I was informed that they have lower plans when I called to complain. No should mean No! ********
Business response:
Lexington has reviewed the issue this former client has brought to our attention. It appears that this case was opened in error. The case was closed as soon as this was brought to our attention in June. Lexington has refunded the one fee charged to the former client. Lexington attempted to reach out to the former client, but was unable to contact her.
Wasted 129 dollars every month for over a year, with not only no results, but they also don't have a way to cancel subscription on your dashboard, and when I tried to cancel over the phone, they refused to cancel. The man on the phone ignored my request 5 times to cancel, and only tried to sell me more services. I finally hung up, and called FTC to report them. I'm here now warning the rest of society of what to expect from this so called business.
Business response:
Lexington Law Firm is sorry to hear of Mr. ******’s bad experience as a client with Lexington Law Firm. As stated in the engagement agreement, Lexington cannot guarantee and clients are not paying for a particular credit report outcome or result; clients are paying only for Lexington’s efforts on their behalf. Lexington challenges items with the bureaus and sends letters to creditors, but the discretion at deleting an item ultimately lies with the creditor and/or the credit bureaus. Clients may terminate the representation w... read more
I was connected by a lending company. I agreed to a charge of $14.99 for my credit report. I was charged $129.95 for some services. I never received any notice prior to this charge or information regarding these services or any payment agreement. when speaking to a representative the first time I was hung up on. the second time I was told that I logged on to the client portal. I never receive any log on information but somehow I logged in per their records. I was then told either a refund of half the amount or they could "re... read more

Lexington is sorry to hear of the negative experience this client had while she was a client. In reviewing Ms. *****’s case, she spoke with a representative and agreed to become a client. She signed the engagement agreement electronically that lays out the services Lexington would provide and informs her of the payment obligations she would incur. The representative also went through her credit reports with her to get further direction from Ms. ***** regarding the items found on her reports. Lexington continued to work on Ms... read more

I'm try to keep my credit straight and you all are hurting people like me with the greed if 14.99. I pissed@!!!!!!!!!
Business response:
Lexington Law Firm is sorry to hear of bad experience a client may have with the firm’s representation. The payment of $14.99 this client referenced is payment made by the client the day they engage Lexington and is paid to a third party who provides full credit reports so Lexington can begin representation to assist clients with credit repair. Lexington cannot change the date it attempts to collect that fee unless the individual wants to wait to engage Lexington at a later time. An attorney from Lexington has reached out to... read more
I was a customer of Lexington Law from FEB 2018- June 2018. I first asked for assistance in paying off healthcare bills that were on my report. I was told that Lexington Law does not negotiate and I would need another type of company for that. So I did that myself. L.L. personal page is set up so that you list what you want focused on. I listed my student loans. The first notices I got were that they were sending out dispute letters for my credit card and healthcare bills. They attempted to dispute my student loans last even... read more
Business response:
Lexington Law is disappointed to hear that a client has had a negative experience during their time with our firm. In the 4 months that this client was with Lexington, she saw 17 negative items removed from her 3 reports. Lexington's efforts focus on the aspect of the credit score affected by credit history. However, if someone were to have multiple new hard inquiries or new collection accounts during the same time, they may not see the score increase they otherwise might see.
Lexington Law has a 3.2 star rating with 563 reviews.
Lexington Law is closed now. It will open tomorrow at 7:00 a.m.
