They send an automated email each month that says the same stuff every time. Literally any time I call I wait no less than 30 minutes-1hr ALWAYS to speak to a rep. I’m literally on hold right now trying to cancel my account it’s been 36 minutes and nobody has came to the phone. *DEAL BREAKER* They never and reach out to give you more info or let you know what exactly they are doing or what is going on, they tell you to check the website which gives you NO info. Spent $80 of my own money notarizing letters that they told me t... read more

Lexington is sorry to hear of this client’s frustrations while she was a client with Lexington. Lexington strives to get the best results possible for its clients, but is unable to guarantee or control the results of the firm’s efforts. Lexington keeps client up to date as much as possible by sending emails and texts to alert of actions taken and new results on their case. Each client also can log in to the client website to review their case and use various credit tools and see updated credit reports. Lexington has reached ... read more
This is the biggest scam and rip off in the world. I was charged two months worth of service for no work that was done. Mislead and was given a bunch of excuses on why letters sent out on my behalf came strait to my residence! Then was told that “who’s to say we work with your creditors in your city or zip code on a daily basis” I have have accounts with creditors such as American Express and capitol one for starters and those were sent to my residence! I only wish that more people would inform the BBB on the dealings or the... read more

Lexington is sorry to hear of this client’s experience. Lexington sends communications to both the credit bureaus and the creditors on its clients’ behalf. The letters sent to the creditors are sent based on the address provided on each client’s credit report. Any letter returned to the client may be due to an inaccurate address listed on the credit report that Lexington can attempt to correct when notified by its clients. In addition to these letters and challenges submitted to the credit bureaus, Lexington also provided id... read more
Lexington Law. What a RIP off. I inquired Feb 2018 to get T-Mobile removed from my account, told Lexington Law situation. The Lexington representative told me that they couldnt guarantee that they could get it removed, but had 5 days to cancel. 3 days later canceled. When I got my credit card statement on Feb 20 they charged my card $129.95, I called them back they said I didn't cancel. I told them this is the day I called to cancel and my phone bill would show the call, there comment was " just cause you called us don't mea... read more
Business response:
Lexington allows each client the right to terminate the representation within the first five days of becoming a client. After that time period Lexington continues to send correspondences on the client’s behalf and sends updates on actions taken to clients via email and text messages. Lexington did this for the time it represented this individual as the firm has found no record of him speaking with anyone from Lexington that day. Lexington has reached out to this individual and would advise him to check his email and reply wi... read more
Most of the reviews that you read online are paid advertisements. Lexington law has a 77% negative customer rating and is not accredited by BBB. That speaks for itself. My experience with them was very negative. They are impossible to reach on the phone or online chat. When you do, I have found them to be extremely rude. 3 times I had to inform them when it was time to review new credit reports. They still have not updated my report. Out of 17 credit challenges, they were only able to change one. I have received very few cre... read more

Lexington is sorry to hear of this client’s experience. Lexington is unable to control whether its challenges result in removals of the items from credit reports. Lexington’s challenges are meant to ensure the credit bureaus and creditors are meeting their burden for reporting accurate information under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Ultimately, the credit bureaus and creditors are responsible for the items being reported. Any client can request to see the work completed on their behalf to see what letters have been sent. This page says all there is to say. Responded to an offer of "free consultation" after giving contavt information and agreement to be be contacted. Taken to a check out page where they want to charge you and your credit card information For all the reasons you will find here, no not getting that info. Lie to me is not the way to start any kind of relationship particularlly a business one. Hey BBB put some negitive stars up one indicates some kind of satisfaction.
Business response:
Lexington offers all individuals a free consultation and can obtain a free summary report to identify what negative items may be on their reports and affecting their credit. After this consultation individuals can decide if they want to continue and engage Lexington to represent them. At this point they can sign the engagement agreement and Lexington will begin the representation or they can decide they do not need Lexington’s services/ Lexington does, however, offer a number of different service levels that cater to differe... read more
One of the rudest companies i have ever dealt with, spoke case worker and when i informed her i was shopping around for the best company to help me, she became very rude and hung up in a hurry. Told me good luck getting my credit fixed, will never do business with them and will tell all i know not to bother with them also.
Business response:
Lexington is sorry to hear of any problems this individual may have had, especially given she was formerly a client with Lexington. Lexington strives to give the best service possible to those that inquire about the firm’s services. Lexington invites anyone who has questions about their own credit situation to call and speak with a representative to see how Lexington can help them improve their credit reports.
Within a 3 minute period, I received 5 emails from Lexington Law. 1) asking me to confirm my email, 2) congratulating me on opening an account, 3) asking me to create log-in & password, and 4-5) notifying me of "good news- negative items have been removed". The problem is, the first AND last name that these emails were addressed to are NOT me! I have never contacted Lexington Law. I called to have my email removed, and was told there was nothing that could be done. After asking to speak to a supervisor, whose name was suppos... read more

Lexington is sorry to hear this individual received any correspondences that were not meant to be personally for her. Lexington only sends email correspondences based on the emails provided by the clients themselves. The email address provided in this situation was provided by a client who claimed the email address to be their personal email. Lexington has taken steps to remove this individual’s email address from their records so she will no longer receive emails from Lexington.
Horrible been with them for 6 months didn’t remove nothing instead took money without a single file removed or worked on customer service is even worse they are rude and they need to wake up took over 800 dollars from me promised me months after months and saw no results at all
Business response:
Lexington represents client in ensuring the items on their reports are accurate and substantiated. Ultimately, creditors and/or the credit bureaus decide what items to report and what items to remove from credit reports. Lexington is unable to guarantee results or any specific outcome as it can only ensure the creditors and credit bureaus are reporting accurately as indicated in the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Lexington states in its engagement agreement that each client must sign that it cannot guarantee any results, and tha... read more
All this company does is send a few letters to your creditors asking them to remove the item from your credit report, and that's where their support ends. This is something you can do on your own for free. They also lie outright and claim they are rated "A" with the BBB. I suggest avoiding this company.
