Scammers robotext random numbers illegally. Would you trust your credit to a spammer or someone legitimate enough to do business legally and ethically? I am not a customer, but they are so desperate for customers that they will not leave me alone.

Business response:

Lexington contacts only those numbers after authorization has been given for such contact. An attorney from Lexington has reached out to this individual to inquire more about the calls and to make sure he does not receive any additional calls.

This 'service' is useless - they are only interested in selling and signup. I signed on for about four months with ZERO activity other than sending some form letters out. No advice, no priorities set on actions to take, nearly impossible to contact (at least 30 minutes on hold) and then the person answering knows nothing other than canned answers. I only wish I had checked BBB before signing up. Will never make that mistake again.

Business response:

Lexington is sorry to hear of this client’s experience and classification of service as useless. Based on this client’s case review she had seven items removed from her credit reports while a client with Lexington. This client also had the benefit of identity theft protection and insurance, credit monitoring and analysis, and other online tools that could have helped her understand more about credit and ways to potentially improve it. Lexington strives to always be available for clients, and thus in addition to phone calls a... read more

This place is a joke! I singed up with them to repair my credit and they double charged my account. I was being charged for their so called services they did for me, and another parties. They want me to sign a Affidavit of Forgery saying someone else used my account, yet they are the ones who authorized for this other person to use it, NOT ME. So they want to get someone else for forgery on a mistake THEY made. It's pathetic and i would not recommend this joke of a business!

Business response:

Lexington is sorry to hear of any problems this client had with Lexington’s services. Based on a review of her case, she enrolled for services along with another person. Ms. ****** allowed for her payment information to be placed on the case of the person who along with her enrolled in services. An attorney from Lexington has reached out to this client and has taken steps to resolve her concerns.

90% of the people answering the phones here are morons. They know nothing about credit repair. I used them a few years ago and they were great, not sure what happened. Maybe they need to train their employees better.

I was looking at house to rent and I was directed to Lexington law firm for for my credit they charged me 19.99 for the credit check. Then they wanted 109.00 a month to do nothing. I told the guy I had no money for that and that I was broke from my Bill's. He said that I could cancel at any time without no problems. Well I looked a week later which was the first of the month and they took that 109.00 from my checking. I was angry but said well it is gone now and no matter what place it is they do not give ur money back. So t... read more

Lexington bills its clients in accordance with federal legislation called the Credit Repair Organization Act, which in relevant part states that money cannot be collected until after services have been rendered. Upon engaging Lexington to represent him, Lexington pulled and analyzed Mr. **********’s credit reports, provided identity theft protection and insurance, gave him access to the client website that offers additional credit tools, and began sending letters on his behalf to creditors and challenging items with the cred... read more

I asked to cancel and I was consistently ignored. They always replied with another question and not doing exactly what I asked. It was very irritating and time consuming. I informed the agent that I was going to record the conversation and give it to Citi bank if they attempted to charge my account as I have very clearly asked to close my case. Finally after I was told my case is closed, I was told I owe $149! They seriously changed tactics like that! Super shady and fake! They pretend like they are wanting to help you, but ... read more

Business response:

Lexington is sorry to hear of any difficulties this client has, especially given that he had been a client numerous times since 2013. Lexington offers different services with varying levels of representation and cost in order to assist all clients based on their budget and circumstances. The decision to remain a client, however, can always be terminated by the client’s request. When a client does terminate the case, there is usually a final payment owed based on work already completed, which billing is mandated under the Cre... read more

If you decide to do business with Lexington Law Firm, please ensure that they sign you up for the correct plan. They charged me $129.95 when I clearly stated that I didn't want to be signed up for that plan. Now I have to wait 3-5 business days for a refund which is causing me a great inconvenience. I immediately cancelled my membership.

Business response:

Lexington is sorry to hear of any problems that may have arisen after Ms. ***** engaged Lexington to represent her. Lexington takes these types of issues very seriously and an attorney has reached out to Ms. ***** to fix any problems that may have occurred.

Lexington "law firm" stole my money without a doubt. A BUNCH OF MODERN DAY CROOKS. SAID 35% OF CREDIT REPAIR IS DELINQUENT ACCT BALANCES WHICH THEY SEND "LETTERS" TO?? ALSO STATED THEY CAN NOT BUILD CREDIT SCORE BACK UP BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT ME?????? CROOKS! LIARS! UNPROFESSIONAL! THIEVES! ZERO STARS!

Business response:

Thirty-five percent of a FICO score is determined by credit history. Lexington assists in challenging these items by communicating with the credit bureaus and the creditors on the client's behalf. The best way to improve a credit score is by removing negative items and by building the remaining 65% of a credit score (outstanding debts, new credit lines, the length of credit history, etc). Over a period of many months, this former client missed multiple payments and paid just $19.95. The rest was never paid.
