I recently went to this Kia of Huntington for a recall service. I asked the Service Advisor (*******************************) to please see why my car wasn't starting sometimes. I believe that it was in the steering column due to the fact that if I jiggled the key it would start. He said that it would be $189 diagnostic and if I have them do the repair the diagnostic fee would be waved. He called 3-1/2 hours later and said that it was the starter. Finance associate was extraordinary off putting and seemed to get his feelings hurt while I was attempting to negotiate a deal. My financing was approved and ready to roll but apparently the dealership paid too much for the car I was interested in and would not sell for its true value. Ah well. I guess the car gets to sit another 90 days.
This is dealership is the worst ever! We went to purchase a car, test drove it and went through the financing process. The handed me both sets of fobs and a thumb drive and registration. I get home put insurance and tag on it just to find out that the thumb drive didn't have ANY of our personal information! It had 4 other people's information on it. *************** has been very difficult just to find out the 401k information. Im a prior employee and I just need the company who does provides the 401k information. Ive tried called *** and the Horne Kia location and they tell me they dont have ***************. What company doesnt have ***************? Isnt this illegal?
After taking my car there for almost 2 years and owning 3 Hyundai/Kia cars, I will never buy another ******* vehicle again. **** the service advisor was rude and at one point told me I could take my business somewhere else but thats not the major issue. The major issue is that they dont advertise that even though you select on their website that you will wait for your car for an appointment, thats not possible. I had my 2014 in for a recall and inspection. I asked them first to do the recall to see if the check engine light went off before doing the inspection. They pulled my admittedly long overdue inspection sticker. Then they called me with thousands of dollars of work and totally flat out lied. One simple example was I believe $700 dollars or so for the entire wiring harness and light fixtures and sockets for my license plate bulbs.
