Had my car towed at my expense to Kings Kia. They told me compression issues with engine. Signed a paper to have engine torn down to see if I qualified for warranty replacement. They had my 2017 Kia ******* for 3 months and never worked on it or called me.I was never offered a loaner and was forced to buy another car. Kia has had 1000's of theses engines go bad and nothing is being done about it. Had to sell my Kia for almost nothing to buy another car. Please advise people to beware of Kia. took my car in on Jan 20th for a diagnostic test which should only be 3 days. They had my car for 5 days before hearing from them. Asked for a rental car and they said they could give one and failed to. They said the noise was from an after market battery not being installed correctly so they fixed that. They said my water pump has a leak which was covered under warranty so they fixed that. Dishonest salesman. I drove 1 1/2 hours to this dealership, we agreed the night before on a trade in value of my car, then he lowered the agreed-on offer as soon as I arrived, without even seeing it. He told me the car I was looking at had the same sized tires so I could keep my spare/rim, untrue. I made a google review based on the customer service I received at the service department. Any time a negative review is posted about Lake Charles Kia the "owner" replies with hostility. Yet will not answer a call when someone asks to speak to him. Horrible experience all the way around.

If you get the chance to buy a KIA from Freedom KIA Morgantown, WV DO NOT. I highly encourage you to go out of state or avoid KIA all together. I got screwed on my second KIA when i purchased it from Freedom KIA with some poor tires with no resolution. When my time to get a new car came i went to KIA because I liked the brand and the quality. I choose to go back to Freedom Kia and buy a car from this dealership as it had went under new management. Had a service appointment at 3:00pm. Arrived at 3:02 and got in line at the express service line. I had to flag down a ****** to get a service number attached to my car and it's currently 3:24 as I write this review with 0 contact with any service providers. I went in to ask if any advisors was going to talk to me and was told the one I was assigned to was going to be coming out. Yeah right.
