Very Retro looking. Not my taste but its good if you like that stuff

Carolyn, front desk, was amazing! She was so nice. She asked my husband if there was a special reason for our visit and he said my birthday... and she'd also found out we were affected by the Kokomo tornado and had been days without electricity. She upgraded our room to an executive suite! I thanked her on our way out for the evening and told her how beautiful the room was. Then when we returned for the night, a birthday card and treat was in our room for me. SO SWEET! Beautiful accommodations and wonderful employees!

So I just held a major event here and the follow through has been ill managed. It's like hotel California. I can agree to spend major dollars and when it's time to pack up no one seems to know where anything is. And when they finally find it they cannot seem to release it because of procedures. Meanwhile if they followed through with this and delivered the packages at agreed upon time I would not be still sitting here 1.5 hours after it was supposed to be delivered. Still waiting. Everything was perfect. Great location for everything in Indy. Staff were everywhere to help but didn't make you feel like they are hovering

***Beyond Expectation*** Let me start off my stating, this is one of my favorite JW Marriott's on my list!!! I unfortunately only got to stay one night due to my turnaround trip, but the time I did spend at the hotel was absolutely wonderful! I first arrived with my son and the room I got was with a King size bed, and so the front desk overheard and right away started searching for a double bed on a high floor (and I know this hotel was booked) and he was able to find a room for us!! Told the front desk at check in it was our seven year anniversary and we came back to the room after exploring to find champagne, truffles and a card. The person we checked in with, Carolyn, actually handmade and colored a happy anniversary card for us. We're both incredibly impressed and very touched by the kindness shown here. The entire staff had gone above and beyond our expectations and have been kind, generous, and very helpful. Will be coming back :)

Adjusting my one star review from earlier, huge thanks to Jennifer the front desk manager for all her help getting my problems straightened out! That said, this would be a five star but I do have to knock a star off because the front desk staff made a mistake when checking me in that led to 48 hours of financial strife and stress.
