I called safelite auto to resolve an issue with a claim and John at the Indnapolis west 86th st. Location. And he was very patient and went above and beyond his call of duty to resolve my issue .John was exceptional with his help & patience definitely an asset to Safelite Co.
My experience with this company has been horrible. We took our pilot in to get a chip fixed and when we came back we had a crack across the whole windshield. We talked to the manager and since he didn’t say anything about this possibility they replaced our windshield. That was the good part and we were pleased until we took another car with a chip a few weeks later thinking all would be well. 10/5/2020 - I requested online a factory OEM windshield (at additional charge) and did receive one made by Toyota in Versailles, KY. I was allowed to inspect the new windshield in the shop prior to its installation, and the DOT code engraved on the glass in the bottom right corner checked out. The glass installation was perfect the first time, but the camera alignment proved a challenge. They were amazing. Had some issues but it was my Insurance Company not Safelight. In fact Steve from safelite care team went above and beyond to give me insurance advise and also was able to get OEM windshield covered 100% by insurance since car was less than 2 years. Dion kept me informed every step of the way. Only took 3 days to get in stock from dealer. Ordered Wednesday and windshield replaced by Saturday Afternoon.
I replaced a windshield for a mutual client of Progressive/Safelite. It has now been OVER A MONTH and I still have not received payment for the windshield. The customer was given the option of having her glass replaced at any location she desired. She chose the dealership. I went through the normal procedure of emailing all of the required information (they currently don't have any reps to answer phones) and received authorization to proceed with the replacement. Do not ever use Safelite AutoGlass !!!! What was a small crack from a rock now takes up almost half my windshield after 2 days of them “fixing it”
Didn’t install OEM windshield as ordered. Said I wasn’t elligible which was not true GEICO told them to install it Made appt and sat there a week later an hour and half, and rhey told me they didn’t have it. Claimed to have called me and left message. DID NOT CALL OR TEXT ME. Then claimed a power outage prevented them to call me. GEICO told me to go somewhere else. DO NOT RECOMMEND SAFELITE IN JAX, FL. UNPROFESSIONAL AND INE.PT.
THE WORST PLACE I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH....I WENT IN TO GET A CHIP REPAIR I WAS WAITING A VERY LONG TIME. WHEN THEY FINALLY CAME OUT I WENT TO MY CAR, THEY REPLACED THE WINDSHIELD WITHOUT MY CONSENT. A crack developed in the windshield of my truck. I took it Safelire in Dover, DE. Brandon, at the service desk, inspected the crack and said it was a stress fracture. As Safelite in NJ had replaced the windshield in 2014, he said it was under warranty. We made an appointment for the repairman to come to my home (in ******DE) to replace the windshield.
