Safelite informed me via computer and on the phone that they had a front passenger window that matched the one I lost. When I arrived at Safelite the employee at the front desk verified that they did have the correct match for my window. After they pulled the car into the garage and thirty minutes later they called me to tell me that the did not have the correct match. After installing the window they gave me the number of another business that could add a tint to the window that would match the other windows on the car. I w... read more

Absolutely awful to say the least! Their service manager was very rude and aggressive as if he dealt with these issues daily. They had to replace my windshield 2 times. The first windshield was bowed and didn't fit right. The second windshield they replaced had a chip on the bottom and began to crack up the windshield. I called them the next day and they told me it was my fault and they were not going to replace it. I was scheduled 4 times with Safelite, first time they sent the wrong windshield . The next 2 times they were no shows. And after about a month they sent over a different technician but again with the wrong windshield. Tech says company will be calling me to explain what happened but nobody ever did . ??

My car was broken into on June 1st. The experience was traumatizing and the treatment I experienced at ********************** only served to make my experience that much worse. Scheduled an appointment for today for a repair from a replaced window in February,,, it is now leaking,,, ,, 12-5pm was the times given through a text,,, appointments are **** made through online, there isn't a phone number to call to speak to someone, the number online sends prompts on how to schedule appointments online then hangs up. I brought my car to safelight because of a crack and they were recommended by my insurance. When I picked up my car there was no difference the crack was still there even though the ********************** rep told me it would look like a b splat. I rescheduled and was told by one of their technicians that the repair had been botched and could not be redone because the resin was already injected. I needed a new window. Safelite advertises a lifetime warranty as long as you own the vehicle. In reality, they will not honor it. I had my windshield replaced by them in 2017. My wife and I were on a side street and my windshield just cracked. No other vehicles or people were around. It just cracked. I called for them to replace it under the terms of the warranty and a "technician" came out the next day. My windshield was replaced on my trailblazer while at work, but the technician left all of the side windows down in the car when he left. Explained to him that I am a nurse and sometimes unable to come right away because I am with a patient. In the 5 minutes that I had to get out to my car, it poured rain and the inside of my truck was completely soaked. Important paperwork was ruined and car had standing water in it. This review is specifically about the shop located at 261 Richards blvd Sacramento, CA 95811. I have had super positive interactions with other Safelite locations in the past but this experience was the absolute worst. I had a small rock chip in my windshield so I scheduled an appointment to get it repaired. I received my confirmation for the appointment via text message.
