BEWARE. TERRIBLE SERVICE AND EXPERIENCE. Both of our cars had chips in the windshield, and we tried to call to request a repair. They don't take appointments over the phone, so you are pushed to the website. We wanted to have them come out to our house to do the service (they're located about 30 minutes away) instead of bringing both in one at a time. I tried many times for Safelite to make this right, but they just cant get out of their own way and now I feel like I need to share this story (warning) with others.It was a very simple procedure. A rock went through the rear driver's side glass. Should have been an easy fix. Put a new piece of glass in. August 4: Appointment to fix the glass. Being glass experts, you would think this is easy. Basically a scam. Set an appointment to have my window motor fixed provided all the info so they could have the parts ready. They showed up took the door apart and said sorry can't do it. Then charged me for the work and said to schedule another appointment and they would do the work for another few.

**** was out on 9/15 and was a rockstar. If you happen to get him as your technician, you're in great hands. He was quick, thorough and super friendly! He let me watch the process which was interesting to watch and explained what he was doing. Got done in less than an hour. I'll definitely call them again if I happen to have another windshield crack. (hoping I don't though). Great service. Definitely recommended!

VERY BAD CUSTOMER **********************. Tech arrived and needed "Parts" said he would come back and never did. Two days later, no "parts" and said that he MIGHT be able to do the job tomorrow. This is totally unsatisfactory if they do not have the resources to do the job - tell the customer. Don't leave us hanging. Be honest, if you can not do the job - that's ok we can look for alternatives.

I am so upset with my windshield replacement. When I took my car in for the appointment I made a point to ask if the replacement windshield would be of the same quality and specification as was the windshield being replaced. I was told yes, he went on to say they reference the ****** to order the correct windshield. After I picked up my car I noticed a defect in the windshield. Had a minor chip in my mirror, my insurance company set me up with Safelite. Safelite offers mobile services, so that was initially what I requested. I was told on 9/9 that the soonest that they could have someone to come out was the third or fourth week of October. Of course my intention was to be responsible and stop the spread using a "professional" company, so my insurance company set the appointment. The technician that came to my home (numerous times) was nice and professional. That's about the only positive I have to say about Safelite. Other than that it has been a nightmare. The interior seal/molding around the windshield was never put back in properly. I've had techs out 4 times (between assessment and actual work) and it is worse than ever. Hanging off, glue all over, etc. But the worst is that you cannot SPEAK to anyone at Safelite. If you call their "customer **********************" numbers you'll receive a messa... read more

Scheduled an appointment and was debited the full payment for a windshield replacement I never received. Safelite called me once and I missed the call which they then canceled on me with no explanation. Called back and I was transferred to a nearby store in ******** **. Discovered that a call rep canceled my service and put in the report " no windshield in stock left a voice-mail". A week now and waiting on my refund.
