The customer ********************** for this ********************** is awful. I do not recommend this company to anyone. They do not follow up with appointments or call back.
I took my ******** **** S550 to Safelite to have the windshield replaced. One and a half hours later they called saying they were done. It was raining the whole time and when I picked up the car, I turned on my rain sensor for the wipers and started to drive away but the wipers were not coming on. I went back inside to tell them and a supervisor explained to me that the rain sensor for the wipers will not come on unless the car is being driven down the road at a higher speed. Filed a glass claim for my windshield. What proceeded was hours of my life spent on the phone back and forth because I would get a VM from safelite telling me one thing and then I would talk to a representative that told me another thing. They were rude on the phone, not friendly at all. At the end of it I went with another company. I will never use Safelite again.
August 5th 2017 I used safe lite to replace my window and they came to my home with an already cracked windshield and had to take money off of installation due to me traveling across country. Fast forward to today and I took my brand new vehicle in (upon my previous experience and others) and I am now driving a brand new vehicle with ZERO safety features because they ordered the wrong windshield. I own a 2016 C7 Z51 Stingray. I recently had it detailed before I put it away for the winter. I had to get the windshield replaced so I took it to Safelite, **********************************, to get a replacement windshield. When I picked up my car it didn't take long to notice all the smears and smudges they didn't bother to clean after installing my windshield. While I will say that the original windshield replacement was speedy and well done, there were a couple glitches. First of all the tech left the windshield heater wires unplugged in the A pillars and they had to send someone back out to reconnect them. More importantly, the pivoting windshield support device that the tech suction cups to my driver's door window left several deep scratches in the door window.
