I want to WARN all the future customers of Safelite. When you drop off your vehicle please have them inspect and document if there are any damages or NO damages (more importantly) as My car was dropped off in pristine conditions at 8 AM and they damaged my car in that front of driver light glass broken and bumper scratched. They took pictures at 8:26 AM and told me that this damage was there when IT CLEARLY was not. I have no way to prove so now I will incur all the expense and aggravation/time to fix it. Had windshield replaced on 11/26/22. 3 days later had to file a warranty claim for the plastic trim coming off. 5 months later filed another warranty claim for plastic trim coming off again. Picked up car and noticed large scratches around windshield. Filed another warranty claim on 4/21/23. Talked to Safelite over the phone and was told that car would be repaired. Got quote from Glass shop that works with the Ford dealer there for $2800. Found more problems than just the scratches. Took the quote for the repairs back to Saf... read more

My daughter had her windshield replaced by Safelite and was charged over $500.00. Less than a month later while driving on the freeway, a rock hit her windshield again and cracked it. Again she called Safelite for a replacement windshield. While installing it, the guy cracked the new windshield and said the company is not responsible for any cracked or broken windshield that occur while they are installing it and charged her another$500.00.

I had my windshield replaced 3/20/23. With in 6 weeks it got a crack. Nothing hit the windshield, it only had 300 miles on it and was parked 4 of these 6 weeks. I went back to Safelite and they said it was not covered under the warranty. There was a very minute chip (I could not even see it). The tech came out and had a sharp pointer to show me and then he stuck the pointer into the hole and made it bigger. I called their customer service dept. and talked with Lamont. After listening to the commercials about safelite so many times, I was over confident that we’d get good service when we were referred here. Then disappointed when our Glass repair claim submitted to safelite before January 29 2023 was not replaced 4 months later, as late as April 29 2023. This is after 4 visits and promises to fix the truck. Order just went out for the 4th time and I’m crossing my fingers. I had my windshield replaced 5/4 and I wouldn’t suggest safelite to my worst enemy. After having my windshield replaced they destroyed bottom trim/water barrier. It’s bent and stretched so it no longer sits flush with the windshield. There are now gaps so large that water/debris can fall behind the trim. This location practices unethical business. They lie and cheat by not honoring the advertised repair failure refund. I've tried to receive my refund for over 2 months and am now being told a check was lost in the mail and they cant reissue. I am on the verge of filing a civil lawsuit for the amount I am owed and the time I've wasted following-up.

Safelite replaced a windshield on a vehicle I bought from a private party a couple days later. It leaked pretty bad. They refused to fix it. You can see the terrible craftsmanship as none of the rubber seal lines up.
