Having been a customer for over 20 years I was very disappointed with TurboTax Premium for 2023 when the processing of a K-1 form became impossible despite speaking with 6 different support personnel for a cumulative 7 or 8 hours. They got the same result as I part of the time and a worse result the remainder of the time. The problem had nothing to do with the amount of return or what I would owe. TurboTax is a great and convenient way for an individual with no write offs to file taxes. Where TurboTax lacks in being consumer friendly is how they convince a consumer that filing their taxes is a free service through them then when you input all of your information, they add on services if you attempt to use a different payment method than the previous year, or they add on services you don't need or want only to be automatically subscribed to services that will charge you after the ***** period is up. I used Turbo Tax for 20 years. But this time I was tricked into getting refund out through Credit Karma. The scam of all scams! If you ever do get your card it will come later than if you just get the refund sent to your bank account. Once you get the card good luck trying to get your money from these scam artists. They will do everything in their ability to route you through every Indian call center. Block you in any way from receiving your money that you just give up. That is the plan. Just My Taxes Please!!!!Intuit Turbo Tax is attaching a Credit Karma gimmick to the the end of my tax refund. I did not see any such mention before I started and got to the end where it was either file the return or close out the process. This is false advertising or misleading because I clicked on for the ************** and instead I got Turbo Tax + Credit Karma--I do not need nor requested! Scam, repeatedly prompting to upgrade throughout entire claim process and then upon checkout realize you were upgraded to a much higher package. The only solution is to clear and start over. When you click on "Contact us", there is no contact number or email address provided so they make it very difficult to actually speak to someone. I can only imagine how many others got upgraded and charged for the higher service. I will not be using this service going forward.

TurboTax and Intuit are frauds and scammers. They sent me a false advertisement offering me 20% off to file my taxes that day. The button in the email that indicated it would add the discount did nothing. You had to call for the code AND instructions how to apply it which was essentially hidden on the page. Once you entered the code and the system said it approved it, it did not actually apply the discount. It charged your card without showing you the total so you don't know the discount wasn't applied until after you've pai... read more

TurboTax advertises free tax filing and then makes you spend an hour going through their service only to find out you have to pay $200 for a **** (literally everyone has these). Horrible deceptive marketing. tactics.

Deceptive practice!! I did not want Live but unlike new customers, returning customers dont have the option to decline. When I got ready to check out I was told the only way to remove it was to start over!!! Are you kidding?? Kind of forces you to pay the extra $ just so you dont have to start over. I called and was told only option was to start over. Asked to talk to a manager- was offered a 20% discount-nope. Demanded to speak to a manager- Finally after sitting on hold for 25 mins, the fee for the Live was removed. I have... read more

Their so called phone assistance person (who didn't know what he was talking about) made me pay my State taxes twice and they won't even refund the state tax refund amount I paid for then their services. NEVER USE TURBO TAX, THEY ARE A RIP OFF!
