Turbo taxs products are not bad, their tax filing is not bad. The people they are affiliated with are bad. Credit karma is horrible I opted for the refund advance which also sends all my refund to my credit karma account. My credit karma account was closed 10 days before I was issued my tax return was approved. Deceptive practices! They automatically started me with the "Live Assisted" Deluxe or Premier when I have used the more affordable options in the past because my taxes aren't complex. I did not realize until I finished filing and was helping my partner. My partner has simple W2s and they automatically started her on a premium product too when basic would be fine. TurboTax Desktop CD/DVD package bought from ****** promises upto 5 licenses. It also provides a way to download ******* or *** software. The problem is that the site (as per the included instructions to download the software) incorrectly restricts to the Operating system first chosen instead of applying limit of 5 machines or installations. There is no such limitation mentioned on the CD/DVD that you have to use all 5 licenses on one Operating System. i WANTED THE $59 CHARGE BUT THEY DOUBLED IT AND i CAN'T GET MY MONEY BACK NOW. THEY ARE HORRIBLE AND I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM. THEY ARE DISHONEST AND WILL NOT CORRECT ERRORS THEY MAKE.

Filing wasn't difficult but at the end they steered me into placing my refund through Credit Karma. Everything about Credit Karma is a disaster. Don't believe any of their marketing.

I filed my taxes through TurboTax automatically approved for advance refund was supposed to get over $3,000 and now it was lowered to $998 and I still see nothing it was deposited on the 1st of March nobody knows where any of money went or knows where any money is I feel completely cheated ridiculous even if there was no debts no offsets no notices that's a lot of money I could really have used

So went on turbo tax to file my taxes... Said i would receive my refund via direct deposit into my bank account said to get your refund faster by up to 3 day when setting up a free credit karma account. Little did I know they sent my refund to f****** Credit Karma! I Looked every week for a deposit in my bank account that was supposed to be on feb 15 since i did my taxes on the 27th. But nothing came so finally went to the *** website went on set up an account password ect.. They couldn't tell me where my refund was on where... read more

No customer service. I just needed the word rollover on the Ira **** and I have lost 6 hours with no help. The e mail account they have on file for me is 15 years old. Yet every year I file through there system. I have tried to change the email and I have had to jump through so many hoops I'm frustrated. No Help at all. I tried attaching photos, uploading photos. But then I have to get a Dropbox account to do this??? I'm not techy, maybe the techy jerk should try getting in touch with there robots. I bought a cd but there at... read more

Poor business practice. If you cancel subscription they still charge you and say you didnt cancel both parts of the subscription. They do not alert you to the second mystery portion until you call to dispute the additional charges.
