Beware of offered discounts. Linking to TurboTax from an offer for a discounted rate did not work. The link takes me to the TurboTax site which displays a discounted rate for example, $70 to file the Premier version instead of the regular price of $90. Then you start your return and when you're ready to file it is now $90. What happened to the $70 price when I started???? TurboTax support offers no solution. I used the required link for the discount, but it doesn't work. I clicked a link from Southwest Airlines to use TurboT... read more

Free, free, free is not true. I use the software and everytime I added something that needed to be on my tax return, it was not free! What is the free, free, free that they are advertising? I'm up to $230 to file my rturn.

Been with TurboTax a few years. They ask lots of questions that don't apply to me. I don't mind because it makes me feel confident the process in correctly handled. The 1095-A never came up. Till IRS sent me a letter requesting more work from ME! Do not amend or 1040X. Send information by 20 days to IRS. DO NOT AMEND. TurboTax online site causing me 6 to 8 weeks delay for my tax refund. I should and everyone affected by this should get a full refund that was charged.

I wish I could give a zero star. I have used Turbo Tax since I started doing my taxes, 10 years ago. This year completely blew me away, I have never had a problem while using their free edition. Last year, I opted for health insurance through the health insurance marketplace because I had a condition that needed figured out. This year, albeit, I didn't receive the 1095A until after I filed my taxes, but I would have postponed doing them had I been asked to input the information. Instead, I filed my tax return on Jan 16, 2020... read more

They are scam artists. I've used this service for 5 years for free and had my taxes direct deposited. All of a sudden this year I'm charged $80. They say they have a new fee and that even the free version will cost at least $40 for a processing fee. This is ridiculous. In what world is a processing fee more expensive than your service. I tried getting my money back but they said there was no way. They are scammers. Never using them again. This is the most ridiculous thing chasing after people's money.

TurboTax is a rip off, when you get to the end to submit you are hit with a $39.99 processing fee, no way to get around it. DO NOT BUY , this is Fraud and they should be made to refund every customer.

Intuit, Inc. advertises free tax preparation on local national television. I used their website to file my 2019 state and federal taxes. I am a single, 78 person on social security. My gross income for the year was less than $30000. My tax prep should have been free. I had to pay $40 dollars each for state and federal filing, total $80. Advertising fraud on national broadcasting.

I am a senior citizen and I thought because I didn't make much money I would be getting my taxes done free. It started out costing me $40 and when I was done they had charged me $100. I'm only getting back $160 minus their $100 = $60. By the time you realize what the costs is you can't just back out of the windows. Its a done deal! I make less than $20,000.00 a year and this money h Hungry Company made sure they got their share of my income. Why advertise free for the people who make less than $36,000.00 a year when you have... read more

I switched my 20 year old business to start using quickbooks. They put my deposits on hold after 7 days and wouldn't release them until I went out of business. I am speechless and heartbroken. They only response I got from the rep was I signed the agreement when I signed up in section 18 showing they could put my funds on hold. When I told her I need help and would they please review my file and release my funds she said they would let me know in 48 hours. That was the response I got over 3 weeks. They would let me know in 4... read more
