Bough a Quicken 2016 disc as I dont need or use online features. Just needed a program that works for basic accounting. Installed and used, but recently I had to reinstall do to virus. There system forces an account check, since I dont have their newer services, it wont connect as such I have no way to access my backed data or even use the program I bought a hard copy for. Their response is sign up for new services.

I was told numerous times that I could not close my Quickbooks account if I still needed access to it to file taxes. This is not true. I was convinced to pay for three months services that I did not have to pay for. Also Intuit did not close my merchant services account or inform me that I needed to close the account, which continued to charge me for receiving credit cards when I informed them three months earlier that I no longer needed their services. I've been a Turbo Tax customer for 10+ years. This year I had healthcare marketplace insurance for the first time. They did NOT prompt me to enter a 1095-a form (on their forums they stated it wasn't a common enough occurrence to warrant being prompted...but they're asking everyone about offshore bank accounts like they're commonplace) and I had no idea I needed to have one. These nasty crooks refused to issue a refund even though I submitted the complaint via BBB. They have the audacity to say that all I had to do was search through the help section. I will never, ever again use them nor my entire family. They have proved to me that greed is their foundation above honoring customer service . This actually should be zero stars - I like many others are very upset with the way Turbo Tax have treated their customers this tax season. I was one of the "fortunate" individuals that have been scammed by their fees and then to make matters worse leaving out the 1095-A form question has put my tax refund behind by 6-8 weeks. This year I used the 2019 Deluxe version with Federal Returns efile and State Returns. The Federal portion worked correctly. Unfortunately the State portion failed. I went thru help line and a TurboTax Tech took over my computer to try to resolve issue. Unfortunately this individual didn't understand what filing taxes in US means so could not grasp what problem was.
