Three weeks ago we sent our file to Intuit Data Services in order to fix payroll errors. After Intuit returned the file, we found a lot of missing data, as an example over 80% of our employees were missing. Intuit told us we would have to manually rebuild the employee info, after rebuilding all of the data we were still unable to send payrolls to Intuit. An absolute NIGHTMARE. I switched to TT in 2018...did CD Rom. Very clunky. Went to TT Live in 2019 and was not told the two did not communicate! I spent hours trying to upload 2018 PDF into TT Live 2019 and could not. I still paid full price. Fast forward to this year. Schedule E does not work at ALL. It has multiple bugs and glitches. Intuit charged $528.50 to my business credit card without my permission for an annual subscription fee for my closed business. I have spent over 4 hours trying to get my money back. Today is the third time I was told I will receive my money in 7 to 10 business days. They also charged 2 monthly charges of $28.50 x2 = $57.00 that they have not returned. I have used Turbo Tax for years. Due to circumstances i had to file my 2018 taxes a 2 years late, April 2020. I E-Filed 2018 with turbo tax. My 2018 return got rejected and I had to amend and mail in. I did not get notice that it was accepted until Dec 2020. I purchased the Delux package so I could have help with filing my 2019 taxes correctly via E-File as I knew I would be filing late again and did not want to wait on the mail in amendment once more. This company prevents me from downloading my previous tax year documents and hold them in hostage until I file my 2020 taxes with them. Those are my tax documents! I paid for them when I efiled and Turbotax took the fee out of my refund check to use their service. Now they withhold my previous tax documents to force me to use their service again before releasing them? That is some crooked garbage! I filed my 2019 taxes with Turbo Tax in 2020 and paid for them to be e-filed to IRS. THEY DID NOT SUBMIT MY TAXES TO THE IRS! I filed my taxes with them as I normally do each year. For 2019, I was due to pay the IRS some money back. So, using Turbo Tax, I signed a form consenting that I would allow the IRS to withdraw the money I owed from my bank account. Intuit support is among the worst support that I have ever dealt with. Our business has a ProAdvisor Account and they never work with you on getting anything fixed with Quickbooks. I would really stay away from them and find a better accounting software.
The turbotax2020 is a sham. Not only do they NOT have adequate customer service contact information on their website, but apparently their software is full of bugs. In fact, I cannot even install turbo tax =- because of an error XXXXXX ? Everybody needs to be warned, and you really need to take their rating down a bit.
