Did not make my quarterly 941 federal payroll payment. I spent over 5 hours on customer service to try and get it resolved. Everytime I called it was like starting from scratch. They scheduled a manager to call me later in the day, and that person never called. Worst experience ever.

They are nearly impossible to reach. They have been stealing money from my bank account for years. Automated phone service just sends you in circles. About ready to close my bank account because of BUSINESS TO BUSINESS ACH INTUIT PYMT SOLN ACCT FEE.

This year I used TurboTax to file tax return. When I filed the tax return using TurboTax, the software told me that I amended my tax return. Actually, I never amended my tax return. I only gradually added information and saved until the final filing. I really don't know how and where the amending came from. I guess it must be a bug in the TurboTax. No stars! They advertised as free and said I was getting a refund to get my bank account numbers, and here we are 3 months later they are saying we owe them 84.80. There was no refund from the taxes. I called several times for resolution and got hung up on. Last time the woman wanted me to log on with her , I have been scammed that way before. This is blatant theft! Don't trust them. After all this I looked them up and there have been class action law suits against them for this. If there is another I'd like to be in on it. ... read more

I have used TurboTax for several years and always had a free e-file since I purchased the Deluxe version. This time I completed everything just as before, clicked to e-file, and suddenly had a notice to pay $40 processing fee by credit card or from my refund. The box plainly says "Federal Returns + Federal E-File" just as it has every year. No mention anywhere about a $40 processing fee. I've truly never reviewed a company on this platform, but if you're thinking of using Quickbooks, do NOT do it. Terrible product, customer service and charge you for products/services you don't have/aren't using for months on end. Frankly, I'm shocked by their business practices, for such a large company. Buyer beware; find another software platform for your accounting.

They want you to lie to the IRS about receiving your stimulus check. After calling the IRS about my reduced refund, they told me that it was on Turbo Taxes end. I called and was told that I should have not put an amount on line 30 of your 2020 return. I was told that I should have lied to the IRS. So now I am out $1200.00 that was needed for a surgery my wife needs. DO NOT USE TURBOTAX!!!!!! In my opinion they are crooks and they want to get you in trouble with the IRS!

I have filed my taxes for a number of years using Turbo Tax and after this year will never do this again. I had a technical issue (not tax related) with the product and was unable to find any help to resolve it. This company is a ripoff. I would rather pay $300 to have someone do my taxes than to ever use this company again.
