DO NOT use turbotax for filing your taxes! They changed by bank account number to a random number that I do not own (i seriously would have had to type random numbers to get that account). I was supposed to be getting about $2000 back, but after 2 months, still have not received it. IRS was no help, and Turbotax was even less helpful. I call every week and I get a "call us next week" EVERY TIME! never using them again

I live in a FREE file state of NY. I filed my own taxes for 2020 using Turbo Tax. I was charged over $250 for using a service I did not select nor use. Despite living under the gross year minimum to file free and entitled to $0 at the end of my tax completion I was charged. Many articles this year claim turbo tax based customers into buying or adding on services they didn't need. Current lawsuits I read are pending. I filed for a refund on my $265 and denied both times.

3 months later and i am still waiting for my refund, they are taking the money i paid for filing out of my bank account and they still not completed their service, i will NEVER use them again. I am assuming of course on their end i will be billed twice and that they are the reason my tax refund has not been released.

Beware of quickbooks. You will have difficulties if you choose them for your payroll and online services. Quickbooks has been horrible to me. I have been simply trying to upgrade my service, and after a month found the upgrade on my own and was able to fix the problem by myself. During that month, I contacted quickbooks more than 15 times through chat and phone. I was shut out of chat 5 times, I would type something and they would either type it wasn't their department, or literally say nothing and close the chat. Another ti... read more

I paid an additional fee to speak with a CPA as this was my first time filing for a side business. I scheduled 3 separate calls with one of their reps and all 3 times I waited on the phone for 20 minutes only for them to no call/no show. I reached out to customer service and could not get the help I needed, so I ended up having to file myself since I wasn't going to pay twice after being scammed the first time. I've used TurboTax for 8 years. This year has been a nightmare. The software is faulty. There is a work around for the charitable donations block. TurboTax is aware of this. The error is cited by Turbo tax's "online experts". After much searching I found several responses and took screenshots for TurboTax. I found it after much searching and abysmal assistance from TurboTax; they WILL NOT unless you've paid to talk to a customer service agent. I was unable to e-file my federal form. After I tried to file for an injured spouse, Turbotax transferred it into a 1040-x (Amended Tax form) to make a profit, which in turn went into my personal checking account and withdrew money to say that I owed the IRS. When I called turbotax about this, they couldn't tell me where on my transcript that I owed a balance to the IRS and they just made a bunch of assumptions that is why money was withdrawn from my personal checking account. Intuit Quickbooks is atrocious customer service. Ober the last two days we've spent multiple hours on their chats and telephone . We've been disconnected multiple times. The problem is still not resolved. Absolutely horrible experience. Would not recommend them to anyone.

Called turbo card customer service was holding 2 hours every time I was transferred to the department that assists with disputes the agents hang up the phone , it's a joke to them!!
