I worked with a Turbotax "Expert", Susette ****** (POXXXXXXX) to file an amendment to my 2020 federal tax return in May 2022. In September I followed up with the IRS to check on the status of my amended return and the IRS agent stated they did NOT have an amendment (1040X) on file for me. I contacted Turbortax to find out what happened to my amendment and they said it appeared that it was never filed electronically by their "Expert". Small business owners please be aware that quickbooks and intuit can hold your funds for 270 days without giving you a real reason. They say they don't feel comfortable releasing my funds ($7600). This kind of money hurts a small business for day to day expenses and operations. I have just experienced the worst customer service conversation in my life. The agent Paul Jonathan was combative, condescending, and simply unprofessional. I requested to speak to a Supervisor and Paul Jonathan continued to block my request. He has purposely wasted my time because he refuses to engage a supervisor; per his words "No need for a supervisor I'm more knowledgeable compared to our supervisor here since our supervisor didn't do a daily call like us." 9/13/21 I cancelled my accountant through the online cancel option. On 10/13 I received an email that I was billed by Intuit. 1St phone call they tell me to log in I try and from their website it says i am no longer able to log in because I don't have any intuit products connected to my account, I dont have any products but I'm still being billed? Terrible company, you lose access to your account, lose all of your information, go through hoops trying to regain access, AND can't cancel your account. They're a scam that take your money. Do not lose your money to this company.
My tax return for the year 2019 was not yet resolved to TurboTax and it conduit online sinkhole, Intuit!!! I can not mention what an agony I had been through all this time. I called these guys numerous time and they will play you ping-pong between Turbo and Intuit. After 7 months of effort I gave up and now I can not file for the next year as well due to this anomaly.
I have spent 26 days on hold, talking to customer service reps, talking to rude operational reps. I have made three trips to my bank. I have had a bank employee sit on a phone call with me, for 45 min and still, I am unable to get my funds. I have jumped through sooooo many hoops for this company, trying to get what is rightfully mine. This company is pathetic. I bought Payroll Annual Enhanced Accountant subscription last year on 8/04/2020 for 615.00. It was renewed on 8/03/2021 for $700.00. Payroll was working for couple weeks and than it stopped working and renewal date went back to 08/04/2020. QuickBooks agent stated that there is problem on their end and made me suspend the original payroll subscription and made me buy two new subscription. I have unfortunately been a pro-advisor with Intuit Quickbooks, use their payment processing, payroll and accounting software in conjunction with my small business clients for many years. Although they have a history of being overpriced, over selling customers and BASHING professionals with the DIY software, I have stayed loyal...mainly because the software itself worked well if you didn't need them to migrate or transfer anything over.
